    Sorry that would take too long to list. But I have owned several Fords, Porsches, Mercedes Benzs, Hondas, Jeeps, Toyotas and one Lexus, one Jag, one Acura, one GM truck.

    Only some Lexus models (including IS350) have DI, the noise being heard by OP.

    I plan on going to Pebble Beach to see new GS next week. I have yet to see any meaningful pics of new GS so far.

    Yes, US auto regs and safety equipment has contributed to huge reductions in highway deaths. But in this case for one exotic, the government should allow exemption for a very large sum of money/fee. The broke government needs the revenue and the impact on public safety is not a concern.

    Agreed, car should not be jerky. The operation of keyless start system in Lexus works exactly as designed. The car will not turn itself off.

    10K miles service intervals (Mobil 1 synthetic) at Lexus dealership, no problem w/IS350.

    Many years ago I used the "new tires" excuse with different rolling diameters (taller tires resulting in incorrect speedo reading). I got away with a warning, probably because I had the recent receipt in glovebox to prove it at the time.

    My supermarket has about the right number of these spaces. Separate issue is the significant number of blue placards in CA being used incorrectly and illegally.
