  1. As Alan said, if your P-brake still hold the car youll be allright. A real smart habit for everyone would be to give your dash a real good glance before you even put your car in gear and leave. That way youll notice your BRAKE light on, or any other info light for that manner. My parking brakes were trashed when i first had the car. Replacing my rear rotors fixed that problem.
  2. took me 30 minutes to get a smart way into there. Patience is key... and a little bit of chucking tools across the driveway
  3. always see them on big trucks and not really cars. In India, most people equip thier cars with this type of module. the module would produce a loud voice command saying to move out the way,or some other random sound. Kinda cool actually, considering the dense population.
  4. 2000 LS.... remarkable car. Not in the winter though... When you bought your ES, was the cpo LS around the same price ? l
  5. i think he meant the actual red peices too, and then keeping red bulbs. But then i think you would loose a lot of reflectivity there.
  6. nice man. I dont remember what color ES you have. I have a black one, and tint looks awesome on it. Did 22 in back and 50 in front. Front tint is illegal in Michigan, excpet for 4 inches from the top. Ive had it for a year and no cop has ever noticed. Plus 50 isnt that dark. I think luxury cars get away with tint usually more than the normal cars like grand am's and crap that tint thier cars. Cops seem to have an act for noticing those kinda cars more.
  7. underneath there are a few nuts and bolts to unscrew. then get the approriate light bulb. its tough at first, but i did it to a friends and took like 10 minutes
  8. i dont understand what your saying..
  9. scratch that! Just got one off a junk yard in cali, $30 total for core. its like a 95 or 96 camry.
  10. Sk... that means i can use any core of a camry thats 92-96. You got any good places i can look? there arent many great junk yards in my town here.
  11. yeah thats what im starting to belive to now. tommorow im actually going to go out there and do all the measuring. Ill let you guys know what i see.
  12. no kiddint, haha, you should see how my 6' 5" friend looks inside.
  13. its a common mechanical function. Most cars do that same thing.
  14. a jet plane. an LS 4 no doubt. 1984 lambo a space shuttle :whistles:
  15. My good friend totalled her corrola by pulling into the middle of traffic while making a left turn. The air bag deployed on her face, besides that shes cool. anyways, i was wondering if what i was thinkin is correct. All the light and cruise controls are the same on the first gen Es300's and the 94 corolla im talking about. The steering wheel is the same basic shape too. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure these are interchangable. Im asking this because i was thinking now would be a sweet time to send that wheel and get something cool made out of it. like that american stiches company. thanks, Neil
  16. and to the manufacturer for this product :chairshot:
  17. there are many with the clear bra. most love it and its real effective. Although for real big chips its obviously not a bullet proof armour. i suggest u look through some of the past forums, there is some great info not too far away.
  18. cept those things cost a bite load :P then again i do have a $500 clifford security system with lcd remote ! :D Now thats protection. Trojan man be crying!
  19. wait for another deal... if your as picky as i think you are... and willing to spend that sort of money ballpark.... wait for another one to pop up. Lots of owners out there who take better care of thier car. i usually get *BLEEP*ed when i see owners with scratched rims and bruised tire walls, endless dents/ and or dings scrathces. tells me the driver was a careless putz. I waited 2 years till i landed on my 96 coach. but well worth it. Your looking for a newer car obviously, so those arent as rare, and you have a great chance at finding stuff. Plus if you dont really car for those wheels, just for a non plat.. and get those emblems later as a mod if you really like. the only thing youll miss out on then is the baby butt leather. cheers to the picky!!
  20. you were a very enthusiastic fellow Loc'er. it was fun reading your posts and learning from your input's. Hope you enjoy your New car. VW's are good cars too. I dont know about the hole saving money part though. Im sure youll be still around. - neil
  21. 4.5 quartz. If your under 100k or somewhere in the vicinity stick to the 5W. Doesnt make a difference. 10W they say i think where climates are really really Hot. ive mixed around. right now i think im just doing 5w. Michigan summer was pathetic this year anyways.
