  1. were they making some noise ?
  2. thats true... its all dependant upon the shape of your current car. i understand that there are lots of miles on it, but if its in great shape and not in need to too many dire repairs, and you dont see anything going bad anytime soon besides maintanace issues, then keep it. That way you can save up for something bigger and better. might as well get the most out that car now. After 200,000 something miles the value of the car cant really get any worse. Or buy another car, use this one as a beater! :D
  3. what up bro. You have been missed. though we talk like all the time on aim... ;)
  4. ofcourse.. performance is almost everything when it comes to reviews. Initial quality, most enthusiasts dont care about
  5. luck, weather conditions, roads.... way too manyfactors
  6. sounds like the best possible reason.
  7. because its a relatively newer line of cars as opposed to BMW, mercedes, porche... ect ect lexus doesnt throw itself at car enthusiasts either.
  8. as in, it wont turn can come out? or after turning it off and past the accesory point it just wont pull out? is the car completely in park everytime?
  9. if it snows alot there and roads get pretty bad and bumpy its definetely smart to go a size or two smaller. That way your wheels take less beating, salt, and in the case you ever loose control dont ruin those nice 17's. 15 would look retarded on that car, i know. I see some nice audi's out here all the time that change thier wheels during the winters to plain old steel wheels that you can fit hubcaps on. In the right mindset... kinda makes a cool sleeper.
  10. my statement was reguarding the fact that there were that many miles. It may have been pampered, thats great. reguardless, there are lots of miles on it. the point is that the car was driven that much and all cars develop mechanical wear.
  11. i knows his is definetely hooked to the fm cause there wouldnt be another way. yea i was asking about your sirrus cause i wasnt sure how that worked. But now i remember your thread on when you first got your sirrus. That was a clever install.
  12. sounds about right.... when very cold... i generally warm about a minute... then drive off extremely gently. I hate !Removed! winter.
  13. the parking lights work just perfectly as drl's. I always have them on. and they turn off once the doors open when you get out of the car. you can even leave the lights on all the time... but thats a waste i think.
  14. what a nice feature. On the first gen's all we got was that black ugly wheel. At least they were the full size wheel though.
  15. congrads for keeping it in the way you have kept it. Love the interior look you have going. Lights looks amazing. How is you sirrus hooked up.. FM modulator ?
  16. rear main seals are definetely not uncommon. Especially with a car only from 2000 that has already 93000. Its been driven like hell and the rear main seals can go at the milage.
  17. true, i guess at that point i just didnt understand what that meant. thanks!!!!! B)
  18. yes.. your right about the line.. and you have to get them matching after a few rotations. With the wheels pointed forward and everything i got it to align just perfect. Project Complete.
  19. allright, everythings pretty much all set. I went to a local auto part store and they kindly rented me out with a refundable deposit some tools that i could use. Worked perfectly. Now i got one problem. in the repair manual it suggest some proper ways to put the wheel back on so that the alignment stays proper. I dont have the manual but if someone can tell me what it say that would be awesome.
  20. maybe ill go to sears today and find one, thanks steve. i didnt know there was such a thing ill post up some pics when i get it done. i love this new wheel !!!
  21. ok, some people help. I got those three uselessly shaped screwes off the side and pulled out the air bag. Everything cool thus far. BUT the !Removed! steering wheel is on there like snug as hell. I took out the main 19mm bolt and attempted at a wd-40 lubing. i can beat it and pull it and not a damn inch it will move. what do i do.
  22. yeah, that actually looks perfect. Not too large. i think its hard starting out on something like a harley davidson if all youve been used to is a bicycle. When i was in india for a while back, 6 years back, I started out on one of those tiny motorbikes with one cycle engine. Kinda fun, but slow. The person teaching me though was heavier than the bike and sat behind me. now that was an experience.
  23. those are fun! is it a big motorcycle or speed bike ?
