  1. Manhattan Dealers. Losers. Contact a guy named Jim in parts at New Country Lexus, latham, NY. 1-888-NCLexus He'll take care off you. Tell him, a guy from Maryland referred you to him.
  2. Same here. I really don't recommend getting spring off Ebay, since you really don't know what you're getting until the delivery. Get the JICs Coilovers, that's what I'd do.
  3. Hey AWJ: Do we have a link for the BoostLogic kit on our FAQ and Performance Parts Thread? I know we have Dave H's.
  4. Are you referring to the dust shields, two on each side of the pads?
  5. Mothers and Meguires are great. I like the fragrance from Black Magic, but I'd put it only on my tires.
  6. Owwwww...! That aweful. :(
  7. I recommend any SC3 with a manual shifter. Of course, your son will have lots of fun with the car, and will eventually tune-it. The one problem you should look out for are leaks under the block. If you find a car, I would recommand having it checked out at the dealer, and if you have a oil pan gasket leak, either don't buy it or have them sell it to you for Thousands less(At least $2-3K). Check engine lights can also be a problem. Otherwise, the car is really nice, and you should drive the car more than your son. Enjoy it.
  8. You should visit the FAQ and Performance Parts Thread, Pinned in this forum. That will help.
  9. Ted: Can you isolate where the clicking is coming from?
  10. Hey, look it's my car :P
  11. I guess my previous post didn't go through. I really don't think you need the two metal pins. They're just holding the two together. You should try leaving them off, and place the caliper on the shoe. If it clears your wheels , then you're set. if it bothers you, then you could place a flexible metal stips, shaped like a V, and place them there, but no need.
  12. HAHAHA. Very Funny! Have you contacted some used car dealers near you? I bought mine from a Wholeseller, and sure, it was a really crappy car when I bought it, but it could help you.
  13. Welcome Chris. Are you sure there aren't electronics guys in the UK who have worked on this problem? I know the recommendation below is from one of our Admin guys in the Manchester. I believe we have a couple of people who can sell you the individual parts, I think. Based upon what you've seen in our gallery, do they look identical? if they are, I would recommend, checking out http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...wtopic=83&st=30 and look out for Jim Walker and information to reach him.
  14. Hey Blake: Why not just replace the seat covers with some new ones. I know SW03ES will agree with me on this. Wow, that's crazy; how did you get all of those items for $400, but I'm dissapointed with the Spark plugs price? I paid $20 bucks for mine ;). Did the previous owner have a dog or rough kids?
  15. I think, in order for you to get better fuel economy, you're going to need to either swap to an econo car, or change your driving style all together. I also believe to smoothen out driving over bumps, just drive slower on the bumps, that's the only option you have. There are only a few options you have when it comes to suspension, in the States.
  16. jtanoyo1 Welcome to our club. That's a very nice Aristo. What kind of Mods have you done so far to it, other than the ones visible?
  17. Are you referring to the ABS Clip or the two metal supports pieces?
  18. On my LS, I've used the ECT switch whenever I press the fuel pedal and the performance is really slow. It gives me a little boost, if i need it, but it does apply more fuel to the block.
  19. Get new leather B)
  20. Are you sure it's not the ABS you're feeling?
  21. I'd go with 30-32psi. Has anybody found stock 18" LS rims?
  22. Which manufacturer? The tire manufacturer or the car manufacturer? I've been using 32psi and it seems to work fine but I've always been curious about which one is the best since they recommend different pressures. The best pressure is the Auto-manufacturer. it's used to test the vehicle, not the tire.
  23. AMEX, that's interesting! Why would Lexus and AMEX have a paid deal like this? <_<
  24. Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to certain parts of the block or the entire thing? Did you ever get the Repair Manual?
  25. Guys: I would suggest you contact MrSypher or Lextasy to answer your individual questions.
