  1. what kind of mods are you doing on your stereo? If you dont mind me asking
  2. 245/40/18 is the perfect size for your rims. Should look sweet after the rims are mounted. Post pics when its done. Mr.O
  3. 1995 sc300 10,000 (in 2003) w/ 80,000K Mods: Supra bilstein shocks Supra Eibach pro-kit 18" ADR formula 5 rims (235/40 pirelli Pzero-nero M&S) nakamichi cd400 head unit nakamichi PA 506 6ch amp Diamond audio s500 hex component speakers boxed 10" imade dynamic V3 sub
  4. the rear isnt all that bad and pretty strait foward, the front gets a little more complex but if you got a fell day and the help of a friend or two then it shouldnt be all that hard. Goodluck to you and im sure you can find some DIY steps on the on here if you just search.
  5. the nakamichi CD-400 is about 260 on ebay and in the low 300s on online shops (www.etronics.com) plus S&H. At audio shops it can be up around 400. If you want the higher end nakamichi decks (not usualy needed unless you have a pro sound system in the multi thousands) can go for 600 up to 1400. But the cd-400 is great and has all the sound quality almost anyone would ever need. Great upgrade
  6. I use supra NA eibach pro-kit springs and supra bilstein shocks. The ride is a little stiff but it handles great and better then most cars that are just as low. Im also using 18" ADR formula 5 rims with pirelli p-zeronero M&S 235/40-18 so that increases the bumpyness of the ride. STILL i like it a lot.. highly recomended! I also have a nakamichi CD-400 deck, Rainbow dream line speakers, and a nakamichi PA-506 6 channel amp powering the whole thing... sound is CRAZY, and clear!!! cant go wrong w/ the aftermarket nakamichi stuff!
  7. i did a supra drop on my car and its pretty damn low.. it says 1.3 in front and .9 in back. However the supra shocks lower it an extra .5 inches.. so im about 2 in the front and 1.4 in back.. The car look really good tho! i like it more than the one inch drop all the way around.. Although there is a downside, i do feel the road a little more (i also have 18" on there) and if im not careful on big speed bumps i can bottom out. But hey i like the results alot! Im using bilstien shocks (i thinkim one of the only people using them) and eibach pro-kit- (supra n/a). and the car can take turns so much better than before... the improvement is unbelievable! hope that helps! Mr. O
  8. dont haven't them installed yet but i have a nakamichi pa-506 6 channel amp, Nakmichi cd-400 deck, and rainbow dream line component speakers... It should sound very badass.. i'll keep you posted... (rainbow speakers = VERY CLEAR SOUND!) thats just my 2 cents tho.. goodluck!
  9. 1995 sc300 140 easy.. could have gone faster.. but big rigs scared me haha
  10. yea it does but its not bad.. i have supra bilstein shocks and eibach springs and its pretty low. i think i have 1.7% of negative camber in the front.. still the car drives very strait and there in no substantial drift or pull in the ride. I guess the tires should be rotated more often but thats about it.
  11. these are 18" ADRs with a supra eiback pro kit drop on my car. rims
  12. 18's are in my opinion perfect on the SC. not too big but not too small. The size tire recomended to give the same diameter as stock is 245/40-18. But if you want to go for a staggered set up you could go 265/35-18 in the rear. Im pretty sure about these numbers, however, if i'm worng someone please correct me. Hope that was of some help!
  13. nah the drop is kinda big its 1.3 in front and .9 in back but i think the supra shocks add another .5 of an inch on top of that.. and yea i went w/ all the same size tires and rims so that it would be easy for me to rotate the tires... Maybe on my next set of tires i'll think about a change but for now i couldn't be any more pleased w/ the handling of my car.. the improvemnt is unbelievable!! i really dont know why more people dont use bilstein shocks on their SC's.. Their great for handling! As far as ride quality goes.. its a lot stiffer than before.. but next to other cars that have been lowered as much as mine, the ride quality isnt bad at all!
