AWJ has hit the mark.. Supercharger is the way to go on the ES. Not very mcuh aftermarket performance parts out there for the ES, but there is a supercharger....Go the way of the forced induction gods...... :D

I first started out with the HA system on my GS. Did not like the stiffness of the unit. Swaped them out for a set of the TEIN CS Spec system. IMO way better...just my .02 :D

Any automatic tans. would beifit from an upgraed in the torque converter dpet. This is most ture when looking for better off the line reaction times...

Therefor the following information may help those of you who do not understand what an E.C.U. and how it works. The information given is in a minimal. Details on an E.C.U. could take hours of typeing... :D Q. What is an engine control unit ( ECU ) or engine control module ( ECM )? The fuel injection system of your car or truck is controlled by a small unit called a engine control unit ( ECU ), it is also called many different things by different manufacures, ECM , PCM, FUEL COMPUTER ECT… Transmission Control Units are called TCM’s. Q. What are the functions of an Engine Control Unit / Engine Control Module? The engine control unit is connected to several sensors and sending units on the engine and then automatically calculates the optimum amount of fuel to be injected into the combustion chamber. The benefit is smoother and faster acceleration, crisp throttle response, maximum fuel economy thus ensures quick and reliable starting regardless of the ouside temperature. Q. How to identify Engine Control Unit ( ECU ) failure? Warning light REMAINING ON at all times Vehicle breaking down at any time without warning. Breakdown services diagnose loss of ignition spark. Save your money and go for the Supercharger. That alone will make a big gain in power. Bottom Line. Save your money..

If you have not yet purchased the car, take the VIN number to a local Lexus dealer. Explaine to the service clerk that you are going to purchase the car from someone, and you want to know if the service has been kept up. The above picture is that of a Do-Luck floor mounted chassisy bar. It mounts just behind the front seats. This bar made a big differance. Just installed it over the holiday weekend here.. A perfect set-up would be 1.5 on 17's. Another way you could have a bit better feel for the road is try and get a wider tire on your 15's. this will give your vehicle a bigger foot print, and that = better grab. Hope this helps..Welcome to the site by the way...
