  1. Just not the case. Turbochargers and superchargers can go on an automatic or manual tanrsmisson vehicle. The main diff between the two is a turbo's power is from mid to high end and a superchargeer is low to mid, but falls off on the top end.
  2. it would be a great task to undertake putting a turbo on a GS 400/430. There would be too much piping envolved. If you want to turbo the vehicl you should look at doing a twin turbo set-up. The reason is that the motors in the IS 3 and the GS 3 are inline 6's. The motor in the 400/430 is a V8. menaing, the other two motors have the exhaust porting on the same side. the 8's do not, they have two exhaust outlets. hope this helps..
  3. Congrates my friend, Welcome to the GS brother-hood....lol :D
  4. Well look at it this way, ya do not need to replace them all. Did you find out why it failed?..
  5. Again, unless you drive your car hard you will not even notice a diff.
  6. Rumor is that the 2005 will be the last year of the LX. Toy/Lex corp. has not confirmed this. IMO i do not htink that the LX will go due to the fact that it is one of the best selling Lexus models ever. Anyway i guess we will find out in 05.
  7. When do the wheels and tires go one?....lol That girl needs some 20's.....
  8. I do not think that they are the same. An easy way to find out is to call a lexus dealership parts desk and just ask them.
  9. Your best bet on this on is to check the web or check out one of our LOC vendors..
  10. Well, the GS feels faster because it is a bit lighter then the LS. The GS IMO would be the better deal. It has a more sporter of a feel. Don't get wrong, nothing wrong with LS. It just does not have the sporty look. Either way, you can't go wrong.
  11. The HDX that is going to production is a modified chassis from the GS, but there is nothing slated for the GS to come as an AWD. I have also heard this rumor, but that is all it is a rumor. On the other hand, the HDX looks like a sweet vehicle.

  13. This is also an issue that one of our other members is having as well, same year GS. It is possible that your fuel injection system may need to be flushed out. a cleaning in other words. It aslo could be that you use a low grade fuel. If this is so, try using a high grade fuel and see if the problem clear. However, i would have your system flushed....
  14. No, not at all. It could be that your system just needs a good cleaning.
  15. AriestoDiamond, Bottm line is, that you are not going to notice much diff in the bracking unless you are doing some hard driving. Sloted rotor will do ya just fine. Take a look at some of the kits out there on the net for your GS and make your own opinion.
  16. There is no performance increase with just the Supra rotors. I think you might be thinking of the calipers. Now there is a big diff using the Calipers. The larger the Calipers the better the stopping power.
  17. E Dawg, Could you post some pictures of this mods? Also where did you purchase these parts from? GSLX4S
  18. Contact power slot at the below link. they do make a set of rotor for the GS's and the are a fair price. http://www.powerslot.com/
  19. Save your mony, this type of things normaly do not work. If they did work as well as the manufacture states, then Auto manufactures would have them as std. items. Save your $$ IMO
  20. Pleace put your location in your profile. Their have been many question that could have been simply answered just by have this information. Thank you in advance. gslx4s
  21. Their are many things out there for your car. What would you like to do first? Suspention, wheels and tires would be first IMO. Get back with me, i will help look in the right direction.
  22. To replace the injectors, will take you about 3 hours.
  23. How many miles do you have on your motor? You might need to have your system flushed out. This can be done at Lexus Dealership.
