  6. well, girl....lol first of all there is that .o3 liters and the tail lights. as far as power out put, there is no diff. Ehough the 98-00 is 400 the .03 diif offers no more horse power. The reason for the the littewr diff is for a fuel EPA crap. The GS gained a few more M.P.G.
  7. Welcome to the site. i think you will find it pleasing. As for your first question, i wish i could help you on this matter but i would say take it to a dealer and have them look at it. As for your second question. Follow the link below. If this company does not have a dash kit for your car then it just is not out there. good luck. http://www.installer.com/kits/index.html

  15. Here is a picture of the factory rear exhaust pipe section. The only thing that was done to this pipe was to cut the factory rear muffler off and weld on a flange to match up to the new exhaust piping on the rear muffler section.
  16. Here is a picture of the New Rear muffler Section.
  17. There are so many rumors about what the next GS is going to look like, but Toyta/Lex Corp. have not confirmed any thing. The only that that has been stated is that the head lihjts will in fact change. What it will look like, well we will just need to wait....lol
  18. 300 to 500 seems to be the normal rate. Chrome maybe a bit more...

  20. I will post pictures soon of a custome rear muffler section on my LX. It is more or less for looks. After all performance is not much of an issue with a 6600lb car...lol Anyway, i will post pictures with in the next few days.........
  21. You should have your rotors looked at by a Lexus tech. It shound like your rotors aew warped. This happens with vehicles of this size and weight. P.S. When is the last time your brakes were checked?
  22. To make things easy, you should just get the headrest type of monitors. Check out the following link: http://www.vizualogic.com/
  23. Go figure, everyone in the GS forum suggests getting the GS over the LS. :P One reason is, the GS is a more youthful car. Most LS are owned by older people. Don't get me wrong, i would love to have an LS 430. But as far as the GS goes it has a sporty look and a youthful feel. IMO
  24. Its clear that you do not see the point. The point was to see if it is the same part for both vehicles. Not to use the part. As far as fram it self. I do personaly use the filter on my two race vehicles and have no issue.....Generic, no. Aplication per car... As stated a person can go to a dealer, but in most matter the parts guy won't be able to answer the question abou this type product. Dealership tech's and parts guys go by the part number that are stated by Lexus. Toyota part number are a whole other matter.
  25. Here is an easy way of finding out. Go to your local parts store and look in a FRAM oil filter book. Look to see if the part number is the same for both models. That is the best way to answer your question. :D
