  1. SP Engineering of Cali. has done this many of times. Give them a call. here is a link to the site: http://www.sp-power.com/main.htm
  2. Both springs would lower the car to the numbers you stated. Both companies make great product. It all depends on when you go to buy them as to what the shop has in stock. Bottom line: witch ever one you go with will do the job.
  3. http://www.aempower.com/car_home.htm http://www.injen.com/index2.html http://www.rodmillenstore.com/ All of the aboce sites have an intake for the 01-03 GS 300's. An E.C.U. supplement is not needed on the 01-03 models. Hope this helps.
  4. To all that view this topic: I am looking for brake pads for the Toyota Altezza IS200, not the 300. The chassis code of the car is GXE10. The motor is a 1G-FE. This is the V6 model. Any help would be greatly welcomed. Also please let me know how long it would take for shipping to Irvine, Ca. and pricing.
  5. Austin, I have looled into this topic already with a big let down. Right now the only way that i have found is to use the FM modulator, unless you change your whole system. ($$) I have heard a NAK system with the XM FM modulator, and it still sounded great.
  6. Personaly, i do not think you will need it. Most people change cars with in five years. If you think you woould have it longer then that, then it may be a good idea to get the warranty. Also if you up your services you should not have any problems.
  7. No, it would not be due to the fact the the GS300 in in inline 6 and the RX is a V6. You to would still have the O2 sensors just on a different location on your manifold.
  8. You may want to talk to the Lexus dealer on this one. You might need to change the key switch just for theft reasons.
  9. Are you planning on buying one if you find it?
  10. If you want to know how to find a good body shop in your area, look for the HOTROD style guys and ask them were to go. Those guys are hardcore...
  11. Ya, it was the strangest thing i have ever had to encounter with in the automotive industry. The service guys were trying to give me a bunch of crap of how my driving style would cause this and all sorts of things. Ispoke to the service Mgr. about that and he said he was sorry. Oh, after the last post i checked to see how long i had the car befor noticing the porblem.. 2 weeks...But long story short the replaced the wheels and tires at no charge. and i lived happly ever after...lol
  12. Go with the 17's. There is no reason yu should have a ride lose.
  13. You may also want to check out wings west. They are a huge company making a lot of O.E.M. style spoilers. Below is a link to the site. http://www.wingswest.com/
  14. The TRD supercharger should be at dealers now. i am looking into doing one on my LX 470. Good luck, looks great..
  15. Thank you, That is a nice car. I like the kit as well.. :D
  16. http://www.lexus.com/cpo/index.html Try the above link for a C.P.O. Lexus
  17. You can get factory manuals from the following link. www.lexus-parts.com
  18. AWJ has some great points. Here is one more. If the vehicle has had normal service at a dealer, take the VIN number to a local Lexus dealer and ask them to look up the number for service record. i for one would never rely on a carfax report. I got stung with a pile of junk. i was giving my sister a car for here birthday and i had a carfax report. Bought the car based on that information. The following week the car fell a part. Bottom line do some checking on you vehicle before purchase.. Good luck.
  19. Maybe you may want to upgrade to a better then stock wheel. HRE is a compnay that offer wheels for your car that uses the factory tire pressure sensor. Go to the showroom section. Here you will be able to see what youe vehicle looks like with the wheel on it. Give a look over.. http://www.hrewheels.com/
  20. No one has seen the final version of the car. There are so many rumors around the auto industry about what the car may or may con look like. Sad to we all just need to wait unitl the 05 seaon auto shoes....
  21. I have also found that the factory wheels are some times not perfect. This come directly form the Toy/Lex copr. offices. When i first had my GS i had this same problem. I went through the multi inspections, then the head at the lexus dealer i go to had an idea of looking at the wheels. Sure enough, one of the wheels was not completely round. They replaced my wheels and the problem was solved. Hope this helps.
  22. NAPA's CRC Brake Disc Quiet was roughly $3 a bottle, and it was more than enough for two cars. It comes out as a thick rubbery goo, and dries in about 10 minutes. Once dry, simply reinstall the brake pad then wipe down the excess red goop that squeezes out. It's a little messy, but you're probably wearing rubber gloves when working with brake pads anyway.
  23. Make sure your factory seals are not worn out. This is the best way...
  24. I am very happy with the Toyos's. Best tires i have ever had...
