first thing is i can't find what speaker you have on order? to compare it with the sotck ones are just that and not made for anything but a full stock system take any part of the system on any lexus and the sound level and clarity will suffer i am not sure about the installer being ingenous the better way it to add a line level convertor ( much different from a 10 dollar piece for speaker to rca line outs) these units are powered and have the best clarity available for a stock head unit as tehy are adjustable and increase the voltage the head can work with other components but it will not reach its full potential nor will any other part of the system i am also lost in what have you already done and what are you plannig to do it all kinds of blends into one another and i am lost fill in the blanks and lets see if we can help you some more good luck

you get more for your money when it comes to fluids by buynig other than the dealer depending on the year the power steering fluid may actually be transmission fluid i flushed my 94 and replaced it with synthetic tranny fluid

might be a position sensor on the engine for the crank or cam it will run until it doesn't get a signal the shut down cause it thinks it is stopped needs to have a scan tool hooked up to it and watch the readings for abnormalities of rpm's fo sensors

toyo t1-s tires are the ultimaet of all conditions also i think your tires aer unsersized i think they would be 225's for a large car like an ls check the manual or door side panel or the glove box sticker for proper size

yo say which one what is the other one besides the k&n ? the stock filter? the k&n is better for gas milage but i think no for performance a cold air intake is the only way to go but i am a hard line economizer i will do anything performance to my car as long as it save me gas

hmmm do you have a digital camera to show us? when you say alot of shavings enough to fill you whole hand or just on the magnet? most of the time the problem is the clutches but it sounds like the valves are not opening fully causing a grinding of the gears

i thinnk your problem is bigger than you know to remove the ashtray yo have to remove the center console maybe you can acess it by removing the radio and a/c unit pull out the upper middle vent and little cover under the radio to acess

they are pretty much right they won't cover any of it if i where you i would have the vehicle completly detailed for like $300 then take it to get rust proof to be on the safe side as i am sure there is alot you can not see now when you sat corrosion under the seat what do you mean is it a part , bolt or the floor under the truck?

you can get the key code from lexus head office have you updated them with you being the new owner yet? also you can get a new key cheaper without the buttons also a valet key and a key card one for your wallet as well

not sure if you can i think it is like the miles kilometer thing on the dash you might need a whole new unit to change it

if you know a shop personally they usually do it for $200 canadian here atleast that is what i pay the bumper medic thing is pretty good as tehy mask prep prime and sand the bumper then paint it blening it to the old paint and buff so it usually looks original and no one can tell the bumper has been repainted

i stand by any 3m prduct there is they are exellent at research and development pricey for some things but worth every cent clean it then scotch guard it

1 clay bar 2 paint prep or cleaner 3 polish 4 wax close but make sure the cleaner part is there it will help to make the car look real new as it will remove the residue of the clay bar

any brand they all are pretty much the same pep boys and napa any real auto parts seller i don't think walmart but i haven't looked lately in the auto aisle in a U.S. stoer for silicone spray lol later

it depnds on what you want to do if you want to save your arm buy a orbital one that shakes the hell out of you as it vibrates in a circle want a car show shine get a high speed buffer more like an angle grinder but it can remove paint in a blink of an eye,so it better for professionals or someone with a car to practice doing a few times most regualr models are prety much the same only does it make a difference in the high speed ones which can have variable speeds and settings and max rpms

well i checked my hu form my 94 and i have no anti theft key or light on mine guess only 92-93 had them the flat head is a bit iffy to me as it is real easy to damage the vinyl on the dash around the vent although it has a good bit of padding spend the ten bucks on the right tool and save a few hundred in repairs

i would say the problem is you haven't fully reset the unit the key is supposed to stay in the on position until you are ready to reinsert the new mast so again ( this time pretend) hold the radio button and turn the key after a couple of second let go then reinsert the new mast with teeth facing the rear of the car then turn the key off hopefully it will return to normal
