  1. i personally have no idea of where the vehicle goes after a buy back as most owners don;t either as they never see it again and most are just happy to get rid of such a vehicle and into something with less headache
  2. here is a cheap and free possibility check to make sure all the wheel nuts are tight and in place
  3. i would talt to lexus then the head office to see if they can do anything you never know
  4. i wouldn't say tein is junk but they aren't as good as the JIC ones
  5. make usre you use good batteries like a duracell one try seeing if the antenna inside the case has broken at the solder make sure the transmitter is transmitting by tuning the radio to 94.9fm and pressing the button or do a search on the order to test the transmitter with the lock switch i posted months ago

  8. for the chrome ones sure the gold sets i don't want to break up as a set let me take pic of them to show you and i might even be able to find some double sided tape to throw in also

  12. i'll move this to the es 300 section as the workshop tutroials are for ones already done to be veiwed how do you know the seat heater switch is faulty it is about as simple to remove the switch as putting 2 fingers under the hand brake rubber cover and pushing up on the back of the switches and they pop forward
  13. $800 is a really good price if you can get it locally jpi has contacts and wholesale conections that may be why his is available so cheap i priced it here and it is 1600 canadian for a full rebuild plus re and re which is a wholesale price i am going to get it for 1200 as my cousin is the manager in the rebuild shop

  15. any retro hid kit will not have a sharp cut off with a blue or purple tinge like bmw or audi which are made for the projectors the light will be all over the place but much brighter
  16. yah metra just started making the premium toyota stereo harness a month or so ago it also works for the ls and some other lexus's
  17. i think the stock offset is -38 mm but with such a small rim width almost anything would work most sc's have a X8" or 9" rim width
  18. it is also called a hub and the abs sensor always gets damaged when trying to remove it from the hub which needs to be pressed out with a machine the hub has the bearings that attach to the axle and wheel hub assembly
  19. you can get ureathane mounts but it is not needed
  20. kev i think he meant a stock lexus system being replaced with a stock lexus system
  21. i am not positive but i don;t think they will fit due to the remodeled lights you might have to change the fenders and headlights but i can;t remember as a member a while ago said he updated the front and rear lights but had to change the bumper and i think the fenders it was a while ago
  22. odd how lexus works my 94 es 300 has the beeping and the volume button as well but of course no light flash feature
  23. you sure it is the idle up valve i thought that was just an electrical load sensor while there is a valve on the ps pump to control the variable assist it uses a rubber o ring that is easily replaced
  24. the hazard light actually does not plug into the ac rear panel althought it is located on the unit the button is off to the side and so is the plug for it the hazard button isonly 1 inch deep while the rest of the unitis about 6 inches
