I agree there is the awd version and i think i heard something about 4 wheel steering and some other madness like rearview cameras and nav since about 97-98 or so it also aws available on the celsior also some kind of super car with a super price

when you call for quote say you have the same year camry as it is the same part # for it and labour is exactly the same as it is the same motor and engine bay set up

it probably is a problem with the starter now as the contacts in the solenoid is filled with carbon making bad contacts it is more likely a bad alternator that gets worse when hot and at idle that is the root problem

dump a ton of febreez down the vents then start the heater on full after a few minutes it sounds like left over soot is in the vents also get the car detailed by a pro i use a guy here who removes the seats to get everywhere in the car to clean the carpets he gets everything out not just a regular wet dry vac clean

i am a mercedes nut with tons of mb stuff but there truly is not decsion rx = car ml = truck and it basicallis a matter of too warrenty or not to warrenty the ml is a disasterous truck for defects ,look at consumer reports and there opinon alone on the ml

never heard of valve filters sounds like smoke up your... it needs to have the valves adjusted with shims or at least and engine oil flush if the valves are sticking then a heavy weight oil perferable synthetic

have the transmission analized by a tranny shop meaning they drop the pan check the fluid and magnet for debris as well as a test drive it is worth ther 100

they are helpful even if you don;t know how to fix your own car it also gives step by step procedures for troublesooting if you do know how to fix the car yourself they are invaluable and worth $500 a volume ,so your price is well worth it even if it is just to look up stuff

find a 97 and upmodel or for a easier direct swap find a 96 camry v6 and change the abs controller which is larger and has a few more sensors plus the ecu got a couple grand?"

toyota also revised the pulley size to a smaller one to compensate for low vdc at idle which all v6's suffer from in the past couple of years

look you can ask one thousand questions and you can get not one answer that means a damn thing drive a car with one then decide , as everyone is partial to what they want and if you are going to ask for opinions ,try and fill in some more blanks when trying to get one. Like what car ,what you want out of it ,what you do in it daily ,track or just for show to say i have expensive suspension ? You know it is like buying jeans you don;t just say hey it is made by guess , the stiching is nice so it the colour ! your battery may have goen bad normally or just dead when you got it boosted it may have damaged the alternator if not done properly

i sell both tein and jic and perfer jic as they are mcuh more comfortable to daily drive and are more adjustable with valving for the track

i agree totally with steviej check the idle control and clean it first extremly common problem with about 20 posts on the subject

the dude who posted that about his rsx is a whiner you can tell we are missing half of what was really said and why it really broke jic is a good cmopany and the so called jic america isn;t a manufacture but a warehouse so they know very little if i had a guy call and complain about somehthing big i would solve it real easy he wants to be spoon feed and get everyone to pay for something he probably screwed up himself

you have 3 posts dealing with the same type of senario if no one has given back a vehicle then it is unlikely they can post anything for the issue at hand you also have a new vehicle with alot less owners tha most models so there is going to alot less traffic in the gx forum for now

why don't you explain your problems so we can all understand and give you better feedback
