sounds like the tape player mechanism is jammed and needs repairing as well as the cd changer you might as well get new ones or buy a new stereo system

Welcome i think most owners would know the pre-lexus luxury toyota car it used to be the top of the line here in toronto there is a member of the toronto supra club who comes out to the meets with 1 of i think 3 cressidas he has it is basically a 4 door supra as far as drivetrain is concerned

the tsunami one retails for 1500 and it is !Removed! ugly at that price most owners don;t seem to want to spend the money if you are thinking of selling an ES kit in north america it would have to be the most 1500 for full bumpers and side skirts which in all likely hood is next to impossible tsunami makes there kits in house in the USA out of urethane which is very hard to compete against which is why i just went custom on my kit

That is right ,after seeing a news program in Canada all 97 and newer vehicles with the so called second generation airbag modules is a data recorder. Just like a black box in an airaplane just not as sophisticated to measure everything the car and driver is doing. It can be dowloaded after a crash to determine if : you were using the brakes throttle position abs speed and when the airbags actually depolyed seatbelt and a couple of other things this can be downloaded by investigators to see what really happened when a car crashed in regards to you saying what speed you were doing in truth. This affects all north american vehicles not just the canadian ones which the broadcast came from it is being headed up by a X police officer from california who does seminars for the insurance and police industry in resolving traffic accidents He says you have no intention of privacy when driving down the road so it should be no problem to record the data under privacy laws. Also mentions it is in everyones vehicles owners manual ,when the dealers of gm were asked to point it out ,it only mentions that the vehicle has a computer monitoring systems for the srs systems not that it can be dowloaded for additional uses after a crash,they have since changed the owners manual to state it more clearly. They even called dealers and asked sales reps and none of them even knew it was in the cars capabilities. How nice of big brother to step in and not tell anyone ,as usual. But i guess if you are driving properly and beying all laws then there is nothing to worry about..........right? as my friend who is a cop always says "their are always 3 sides to the truth" "your side" "their side " "and the truth"

never heard of a pac module i am interested to hear more there is a self contained unit which splices into the NAV displaywith a switcher to have the a/v rca plugs to add a seperate audio and video feed they go for about 400 on ebay

I am sorry ,how are you going to ask someone else if the fuse on your own car is blown ????? wouldn't you take the 3 seconds before asking someone else for help to try and check the basics yourself?

you need a new head unit with the cd buttons as it replaces the fm2 you need a new amp with cd controls out and the changer with cable

where did you find the self diag? the one i listed here i also listed with what all the codes mean? look in the general maintance for other answers if needed. But 21 means the solar sensor which is normal if it is not very bright outside.

i would say either the battery terminals are not contacting or you didn;t reconnect the terminals properly but i am sure you already tried redoing them do you have multi meter? or just call lexus you should have roadside assistance still and warrenty

the o/d light flashes for the t/c not being engaged usually because of low fluid or a blockage in the valve body you can do an engine flush rather easily on any lexus even without the machines to "purge" go to walmart they have machines to do it very easily lexus uses valvoline now and it works great. don't even bother just droppping the pan and refilling it . it is better to drop the pan clean the filter or buy a new one then replacing the gasket then go to walmart and have the system flushed if you are really enthusiastic then clean the filter one more time to remove any left over debris

It probably is the cold start injector regular fuel flush is usually not enough as it is not concentrated enough to do any good as the injector is only used for a short period of time before turning off.

I perfer a luxury saloon in black to have the chrome lip and black rims it all depends on if you wante everyone to say wow look at that chrome or the real enthusists of cars to say OMG that is soooo slick and stealth.

mugen is owned wholely by honda motor company of japan. It is run by the CEO of honda Mr. Honda his son runs the Mugen division responsable for the f1 division bearing there name. I highly doubt any other company but honda owns mugen. foglights are all crap they are jsut for show i have a $700 set and tehy are still crap in real fog just like in europe they do no good. The only good kind of foglight are the rear facing red ones which make you more visable to other cars behind you. Like the 2 that are on the rear trunk lid of a GS and IS which are both rear facing in europe and asian markets.

normal wear will cause a wheel hub to need replacing. the extra play in there cn cause the cv joint to move away which is where the sensor is attached to . the sensor which is basically a magnetic pick up will never get loose as it is squeezed into the wheel hub and usually gets destoryed if removing it to replace it in a new hub assembly. The cv joint is physically imprinted with the metal teeth so it neither can become loose . I would say on an incline you would get the abs to kick on occasionally especially if it is treated concerate. It will build up on the wheels and slight slippage on the inside wheel of the corner will make the car think it is slipping especially if on a turn downwards.

Engine sludge which is covered by an extened 10 year lexus warranty alreayd on all affected. occasional hot restart problem from carbon build up on the idle control valve that is it and both are ntoghint to worry about on a well maintaned car.

all lexus but the LX have the same bolt pattern which is 5 X 114.3 the offsets all vary

JIC makes the coilovers for the es 300

take it back to the dealer to fix it could be a number of things but you didn't say if the front lights worked fine as well as the marker lights
