you wanted to add anti seize not lock tight since those are more for engine parts but suspension parts bind and need the extra grease to loosen after a few years. Once torqued right they won;t come out

either the switch on the brake pedal is not workgin ,check your taillights to make sure they work or the shifter lock under the panel is sticky from something drying on it and needs to be cleaned

all cars have the front suspension look higher than the front as the front wheels turn and the back don;t so inorder for the wheels to turn out the fender is higher to not rub the ride height is all about the springs not the shocks, you can have bad shocks but it only slows the rate of bounce of the spring. you can drive without a shock but not without a spring. more than likely the ride stressed the springs and they are now sagging whih is common for old springs use the lower body lines to gauge the height not the fenders which are misleading.

check the wires and connection for the battery to the body they may be bad causing the battery to not get fully charged

sonds like a bad powerwire or remote wire it might be the switch you are using not being high enoguh amps to hold the power

A real driver knows it is about trq down low and flat ,like all bmw engines they don;t need M powered to go fast, they just are an amazing design, drive a 320i ,yah it is a 2.0L but it will smoke most 2 liters as it has the same low power all the way through not top or bottom end and cutting out halfway there. No worried about shifting points as the power is still there when you finish shifting .

Start by getting the engine cheked for engine sludge ,first since what is the use of fixing things on a dead engine. there is a huge post that shows the exact happenings of sludge in an ES A mtorvac is a high pressure cleaning solution where they disconnect the gas tank and run this system through the engine instead. It cleans all the carbon out of the engine and sensors as well as exhaust. They also clean the throttle body as well to finish a perfect cleannig job.
