  1. I'm buying a ES 300 with out heated seats, is it hard and expensive to get the heated seats put in?
  2. Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a 91-93 LS 400. Is there any major problems that this car has or anything i should be looking for. I know this is an old car, but i think this car is a tank. I called my local lexus dealership, they said no tranny or engine problems. They had one customer who has 450,000km's on their LS and no signs of going. Thanks
  3. Interesting, I'm coming to Toronto in August. I might check out the cars out there. My buddy said import cars are cheaper there then in BC.
  4. Yeah, i think that car is worth $7500. But imports are really big here and people want a fortune.
  5. Yup i'm gonna buy one, it's hard to find a good one. I saw one, it had 170km's full load and well maintained it was a 92. He wanted $8500 i think it's only worth $8000, and it had an accident over $2500. That was the first one i saw, so let's see what else is out there. If i can't find anything this week, i'll call him and give him $8500 if he still has it. I don't want to jump at the first one i see.
  6. Hi all, I'm looking into buying a ES 300 92-93. I called my local Lexus dealership to ask them is there any recurring problem with that car. They told me that the trannys are not that great, and they usually go on those cars. The service guy told me it would cost like 5g's to replace it. He said i'm better off going with a 94 but i dont' have the cash for one. Anybody out there know about this problem or have had this problem? Thanks
  7. Do the 92-93 ES 300 come with heated seats? Thanks
  8. Hi all, I just wanted to know about the engine and tranny for 92-93 ES 300. I know that it shares the same platform as the Camry. So is the engine and the tranny the same as the Camry too. Like can i get engine and tranny parts from a Camry and put it in a ES. Is maintance prices the same as a Camry, so i can take the car to Toyota instread of Lexus. I want a really reliable drivetrain and i'm looking for one now, so it's gonna have tons of KM's. I'm kinda new to Toyota's and Lexus I know they are known for their reliablity but i really want to know from owners what are some serious problems and cost that i might have. I don't have lot of money for maintance so i really want to know what i'm getting into. Thanks
  9. Hi all, I am thinking of purchasing a Lexus ES300 like a 92-93, I smashed my 91 Acura Legend. I know it's an old car, but for the money i'm getting I'd rather get an older import car then a new domestic car. I was just wonder what is the engine code for this car is it 3VZFE or 1MZFE. I know that this car has the same drivetrain as Camry of that year. So I want to know the reliability of the drivetrain for this car? I'm in Canada so if i'm looking for such an old car the KM's are gonna be high. I also wanted to know about the cost of car repairs, like the engine and tranny. Seeing as it's the same as a Camry would the cost be the same also. And I would also enterain anybody who has any thing good to say or bad to say about your own 92-93 ES 300. I was wonder in about gas mileage too. I hope you guys out there can help me. Thanks
