  1. Eric5412; I know how you feel man , this happened exactly for me last week , I had to take the back seat out , open the carpet and it was just water everywhere , its actually still wet , I am still changing the towels everyday!! I checked the sunroof drains and one of them was full of dust and that was why it leaked somehow underneath the driver side front and back. temporary solution : get a dock tape , dock tape all around your sunroof for now , and dry your carpet out , and later check the drains , get a spray and open them up , I am sure its from the sunroof , cuz when I dock taped it , stopped leaking !!! and it was just the carpet and the foam which was wet!! good luck !!
  2. thanks SKperformance; Its raining hard again , and seems like the problem was sunroof !! since its not leaking anymore , I'll try the spray after my finals !!! thanks again.....
  3. thanks SKperformance; I am sure now that the sunroof is the problem !! I opened the coveres and it was all wet , so I took the back seat out and opened all the covers , it was a disaster !!! water everywhere , I took all of it out , its just wet now , I put towels everywhere and I covered the sunroof with plastic and dock tape for now now my question is : where are the drains for sunroof , I checked but couldn't find out , also whats this spray wd40? please help me , I am not just on the situation of spending big bucks to repair the sunroof , thanks for your help ....
  4. thanks guys , thats what I think , there must be a blocked drain somewhere that is causing this (because I always park the same and this is a new problem , angel and level of my parking place hasn't been changed ) !! I imagine its coming from somewhere in the trunk since there was more water in the back !!! well , I guess I'll just pour the water out and dry it and get a cover for the car for now till the weather gets better , thanks alot again guys and looking forward to hear more oponions...
  5. My bad !! The leak is on the driver side , front and back , but mostly on the back !!! I am not even sure how to dry it out !!
  6. Hello everyone , I own a 1994 Es300, last night we had a very hard rain after a long time in Bay area , cali , and today morning there was like 2 inches of water staying on the front and back passenger side carpet!!! the facts are : 1- I took the car to carwash a few times , there was no leak by the windowses or anything , 2- everything is dry , roof , seats , passenger side carpet and seats ... 3- trunk is dry My guess is its leaking from somewhere in the trunk or hood , I have no idea , please help me guys , also I dont know how to dry this thing !!! thanks in advances !!!
  7. interesting !! I have the same problem with my 1994 es300 , there is a very small leak on one of the tires which is really annoying me , and I have to fill air in it every week or two!!! I have chrome rims too ,
  8. thanks alot guys, I guess I have to go with those H&R spacers , I'll go see if I can find any tomorrow , If I can make this happen I'll put some pictures for you all to see here, thanks again.
  9. yeah , I agree with NeiLtYmE , these wheels are all the same , I think it has nothing to do w/ the front wheel drive or rear ,
  10. Thank you from both of you guys !! the thing is front is ok , I could turn the steering all the way and nothing happened , I am saying this because I drove a little bit just on front ones and tested them!! the problem is just the back , when I first put them on, the tire rubbed to both struts , the horizontal and vertical one , and it wasn't possible to turn the wheel by hand , even the rim rubbed a little bit to the vertical strut too , but with the 5/16" spacer , just the tire rubbed to the main strut or vertical one and it was pretty loose that I could turn the wheel by hand , but still rubbed , I am pretty sure with just one more 1/4" or same 5/16" spacer it'll be fine , there is lots of room for the fender , the problem is just bolts which are too short for adding another spacer!! and also I am pretty sure they won't stay out the fender even with two 5/16" spacers. what do you think guys ?? should I give up and get rid of them or try some other solutions ??? I am not familiar to the brake and axle system , is that possible to make the bolts longer ?? or those H&R spacers are the last solution ?? I really appriciate your help!!
  11. Thanks NEO for the help , first of all I am pretty sure tire won't touch the fender, I remmember there was pretty enough room for the tire , if I am right the OEM tire size of my ES is 205/65/15 . and this one is 225/55/16 , so there souldnt be that much difference between the radiousesof the wheels and tires together , I think the problem is what you said , offset +45 is way too big for this car, but I got the best deal on these rims and I am willing to even invest more to make this happen. I think the H&R spacers that you talked about should solve the problem , but there is a few questions here: Isn't spacers dangerous ?? a rimshop person told me they are dangerous and thats he doesn't sell them , even my mechanic said they are !! but my question is if they are dangerous , how they sell them everywhere ? my other concern is the look , eventhough I really like the look , but with adding this spacer , I dont want the tire to stay any out of the fender , thats gonna look really ugly and I guess then there is noway to findout than try them on and see how they look !!! and also how can I get these H&R spacers ??? thanks again.
  12. hi everybody , I own a 1994 es300 , I bought these used chrome gs300 rims in a really good condition, but they dont fit on my car !! I dont know the offset but the tire size is 225/55/16 , thats why I though they should fit easily but they dont !!! I dont know why I didn't try them before I buy them :cries: Front is totally fine but the rear tires rub to the struts !!! just the tire though , I even got spacers ( 6/15" ) , but they still rub , the reason I bought them because I though 225 fit on ESs easily , my guess is that the problem should be between 1/2" to 1" , I dont know what to do , if I go with 2 spacers then the bolts are gonna be way too short and dangerous and there is noway that I can make the bolts longer !! I can sell these rims but I really like the look , please help .....
  13. thanks for the suggestions , I am totally looking for something quite too or something just a little bit louder!! but the thing is I am just more concern about the look !! I know the one I posted on ebay is junk , but I just wanted to show that I am looking for something like that!! any other suggestions ?? I appriciate it .
  14. hi everybody , Im new in upgrading thing , specially when its about a lexus !! anyway, what do you guys think about these chromw mufflers on ebay ??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33636 there are other similar ones too , now I just wanna know has any body else done this before ? or do you know any other similars??? and also will be any changes in the HP ?? how about any kind of change in the sound of the engine ???
  15. yep , trust me , everything was the same , I drove them all with the same transmission mode , and as I know all the engines and transmissions are the same !! my mechanic actually noticed that too , but he had no idea either !! he thinks it must be a difference between the computer chips, other than that he had no other idea !! that was in some auction which I tested all these cars in about 2 months. and I am 100% positive , please help me..... Or maybe somebody can tell me how can I add a few HPs ???? thanks.
