  1. I know of one other person buying them from AAC but never seen anyone with them installed on a LS400. So here are some pics i am stealing from another site from this weekends meet . I didn't want to take any as it is difficult to get the lighting right and these pics show that . Took a bit to heat them up and open them but i had to fix one of the headlights inside as a bracket broke 3 years ago at LEX fest Atlanta . So know my headlights are straight and aimed again with some nice CATZ 6500k d2r's (very rare). I may open them again and colour match the insides if i have to paint anything again . I have my headlights clear bra'd and after i took them apart you could not tell which was brand new from Toyota and which was the old one from 98 as i got a new headlight a few months ago and it was dirty inside . Now the car looks like it is only a few years old as the clean lenses make it look so new. Oh well enjoy as it can be done.Oh yah Those are RX 350 18" wheels and they do not fit without a 15 mm spacer on a 95 and up. The final one is just the headlights in a dark shot.
  2. Love that truck, it drives like a very refined truck with manners. It is also really fast in 4.0 ,4.4 and especially 4.6 .
  3. The pics will show nothing that contains any information as to why only the effect of it. From all of the documented cases of spontanious acceleration including the biggest one that almost destoyed Audi was all driver errror. With those it was found the pedals were too close and caused the driver to think they were on one pedal or another . Also found most of the drivers were women wearing heels at the time as well causing them to have an unatural foot position . I hate driving with dres shoes as it gives me less pedal feedback , i can't imagine how someone could be a good driver with heels.
  4. The rear is a bit wide and unless it is the perfect offset it will rub on the fender or shock. 245 tires will be real hard to stretch as it is made for a 285 tire.
  5. it is 14 pounds for torque , i would jb weld back that vac plug as it can cause the light
  6. That is what my rims are but i have spacers as well as my cars is widened by 2 inches on each wheel well so it is not a good comparison.
  7. What you choose is dependent on the car but mainly where and how it is used. If you rarley go below zero then use more water, if it does then have more coolant. Water is more effeicent at transferring heat but freezes and boils. Also it has no agents to keep corrosion down , lube the system or clean it.
  8. Order some new rods as they are cheap. Struts will fail faster than rods and cost way more to replace.
  9. Nice parts but it is backwards as it is acessories withouth anything that is actually VIP. Kind of like putting stickers of parts that are not installed.
  10. No suprise at all when you drive a new Lexus , they are not even close to what they were in the 90's. I hope they realise they can only go cheap for so long before it gets out and their marketing is shot as being reliable because they just are not pulling their weight anymore. My 03 GS is nice but my 98 LS feels way better , more solid and secure feeling . Not like a tin can that clinks down the road and is noisy , and the biggest thing is the stupid styrofoam in the front fenders for being cheap to reduce noise.
  11. This statement is so arrogant that it shows where your intelligence is. The Qur'an is a book , idiots who take it to mean anything else and make stupid comments are just as ignorant as the ones who use it as an excuse for killing . Every religion ,race and country has morons . Stupid people blame everyone they can , intellegent people can decipher the difference of association .
  12. I would not recommend an aftermarket sensor as it is a variable sender. Aftermarket ones are ok for simple things like position or a sensor that is either an on or off signal like a cam. When it comes to this sensor OEM is the best bet as it will tell the ecu excatly what map to use which will make or break the performance and milage of the car being proper true . It is only $50.
  13. Let us know when you finally get a new one if it IS fixed to know for sure. car-parts.com should have had one.
  14. LOL @ RB , that made so little practical sense i had to laugh as it sounds like something George bush would say before someone throws a shoe at him. Diplomacy will stop more killing than killing more people. He is in goverment to make cool level headed descions not to jump and react. The world is taking notice to a different side of "Americans" . It is not him trying to be a cohort to destorying his own but allowing others to be as well where ever they are. "America" by many out side of he US see it as a power hunger donminating controlling country who medles in others affairs for their own self gratification. I don't make these statments but see and hear it from others from all over the world. He has changed the tone and others have been receptive , you may not agree with his practices but every exchange of words is much better than one with bullets. No one wants to see those commited to defending there country come home in a casket.
  15. New aftermarket wheels only shake when idiots who don;t know what they are doing install wheels. You have to get the center bore adapters if the wheel is not made for the car . It aligns them so it will not vibrate from being installed improperly.
  16. Hydro is not vip and is rock hard. the edfc on tein suspension is for changing the stiffness of the shocks not the height.
  17. Moving job allocation of what to china? Most companies are moving support staff overseas and have for years , it only makes sense to reduce costs. I would not draw a conclusion of aig being fingered as a reason as it takes months for a move like that. He is workign at keeping the people happy , he is running a multi level marketing scheme by keeping him on a level playing feild as the people and not the companies. A strange and refreshing way to do business . I say buisness because no matter how you feel politics is a buisness that has to have as much heart involved as a balance sheet to work effectively.
  18. Looks mean little as it is just copper and oxidizes easily but is very effective at heat transfer. Is it an oem sensor you bought as i notice it is slightly different than the original. I also cracked the socket taking the old one out. LOL You should be able to notice the first time it gets to operating temp and you floor it. BTW how many miles are on the car for the sensor you replaced?
