  1. If the inside is bald and the outside is fine , swap the sides and get an alignment to wear the rest of tread out and save a few buck. Personally i hate run flats but unless you have a spare i woudl stick with them.
  2. Funny i don't find the girls good looking . They look like 2 plain girls from arkansa to me. I am still wondering why theywould go on bull run with such large wheels and not facotr in the *BLEEP* happens factor. Oh well atleast on Sunday i spent 7 hours straight getting caught up on the show.
  3. Opps i missed this one , Happy birthday my friend.
  4. Mention it to the dealer i think they can adjust its sensitivity.
  5. One thing to remember the vendors over there pay big bucks and will start complaining if anyone gets to sell anything. I would have probably asked a vendor to sell the rest for you so they can make a couple of dollars and everyone is happy. It is a pain trying to establish what reality is over perception. I have seen for years on the internet people saying it was only for them and a few people then turned out it was sold more and more to the point where it was more sales than some vendors. Even so i have a member calling the rules garbage on here because they are not allow to post "for sale" threads because they have never contributed here. I just don't get it sometimes, where logic and rational overcomes the "I am important factor" so let me do what i want . Funny enough i also remember having a thread a few years ago trying to clean out my garage and one post on the prelude forum got locked and the mod was warning me telling me to be a vendor . i was like it is all used stuff in my garage i am clearing out. She said it was too many things for one person to have and i was a business. I laughed and had another member vouch for me that it was mine and she apolgized. Oh well , i live to pay tax another day.
  6. Get all 8 as spark plugs age so do their resistance.
  7. It will not work by using the res. Do not use it as it will partially block passages. Keep topping off the fluid or Fix it proper or don't drive it.
  8. You bought an ebay speacial , it will not work on any toyota after 5 minutes. It is onyl a resistor and is not variable. Unlike other cars which used fixed values, toyota has an adaptive computer which will monitor the sensors and adjust is variable table according to the values it receives. Thus throwing the change out the door as the whole curve is moved equally , which means an aging sensor for the ecu and it moves to the new table.. I pray no one asks this again as i am tired typing this over and over again.
  9. Happy Birthday , Here is my thoughts on this , it is a very 2 sided coin . On the LOC we are a smaller community than CL so it does not have as much traffic. Thus most people head to CL first and are always trying to sell their wares. It is unfortunate but it has to be a blanket policy to advise on no solicitation as everyone it trying to get it for free. I had some parts a few years ago to sell and it indeed looked like i was trying to sell it as a buisness , it just happened i only had 3 sets and had to buy in bulk for me to get them. I can't even remember what it was but i was advised of the same policy and it made sense. Remeber it is not a personal thing against you as you are great at these projects such as the retros . It is also easier to swallow if you just post a DIY write up and anyone who wants you to do it just asks and you are usually good then. I don't think you are trying to make a buisness out of it ,and if you were it probably couldn't make enough to buy 1 more set of projectors :) . So again you can't blame them or even us for stoping anything that sounds like soliciting as it has been spoiled by years of free loaders looking for ways to say "well he can do it for free or that way".
  10. folia tec if you can find it makes the best tint spray but it only last 4 years or so.
  11. I use tire gel from meguires as it is real sticky and keeps rubber soft.
  12. Like the crap in the commercial that says it cleans the deposits from lower grade gas then says it protects from them forming again . Does this not mean it causes the same deposits it has to protect itself from? Shell is a bunch of idiots in marketing and are always trying to pull the fluff over such as the ferrari commercials . I was actually at a focus group for them , when i asked what they did or how it helped they didn't answer and rudely went to the next persons question.
  13. locked, member warned. This discussion has run to an end in the last post you made. No further postings in it regards are needed.
  14. the halos can be ordered in other colours including red. I like the wheels but they are not the cheapest OEM option to get for sure as they look real nice.
  15. The GS also does it , it comes form the front strut mounts being worn and mulitiples by the rest of parts being worn out. moved to the IS section rather than the general one.
  16. do you brake lights work?
  17. walker is ok , i prefer to keep it as close to oem as possible and that is denso
  18. You can buy denso unviersal sensor for the ones after the cat but if ou are not good with wiring just buy the harness plug ones , you will have to pull up the carpet by the drivers /passenger tunnel to get to them to unplug the harnesses. I think oxygen sensors.com or a few parts place are about $100 for the harness ones universal are about $50.
  19. I would look for a voltage problem which may show a light but it is not really there.
  20. I was never a fan of them either ,I loved tehm on a BMW but now with so many OEM's using it i finally submitted and bought them a year ago and finally installed them after a long debate.
  21. It is the same for all toyota's they from what i have seen use the exact same part number so it is easy to find anywhere. The tranny mount is the same thing and should be changed as well on a 430 around the same time if wanted.
  22. Take apart the latch on the door switch and fix the contact it is only a strip of metal for a contact.
  23. Sorry for not being clearer . The west end ( Mississauga )Tim Horton's meet is on west of Mavis on the North side of Britannia (401/Mavis) directly across from the home depot . The east end (Scarborough) meet is Kennedy /401 Tim Horton's behind the Rona on William Kitchen road .
  24. It has to do with one wheel loosing traction but can also come from the alignment of 1 wheel being off causing a yaw sensor to kick in . it can happen more on wet roads as it has the power to pull the one corner easier. My rear right wheels toe is off and on slippery surfaces i can feel it pull the back end to the right and makes vsc kick in easy on wet.
