  1. I don't see any choices available on tirerack in that size mike I think you best bet might be to stick with the stock size. ;)
  2. So what brand are they? "Big-O"?
  3. Ouch Sounds like your choices are limited at the moment benzo. :( bummer. But more might become available in that size in the future.
  4. Agreed, contact Lexus directly as the warranty is good for 8 years if memory serves. Do you have all service records since you have owned the vehicle & what about service records from the previous owner? Ask Lexus to do a search for the maintenance history by giving them the VIN number if you don't have the previous owners records. B) ALWAYS keep a file with all service & repair history!
  5. Try doing search in the wheels / tires forums on this site......just type in Falken Ziex ZE-512. You won't beat the value of overall performance (especially in bad weather), excellent ride quality & very good handling! B) You can also go to www.clublexus.com & do a search on the tire forum. Good Luck! B)
  6. Good points you brought up blake......it's an interesting question! B)
  7. Perhaps a strut tower brace for handling is a good idea if your considering a suspension mod......fairly inexpensive & good results. B)
  8. Bren, the A/C filter is very easy to change, just like the air filter. Only problem is its location, which is the right of your gas pedal and behind some carpeting. Not a lot of room in there, but it can be done. No tools required, and you'll definitely need a flashlight for this job. If you have your owner's manual, the A/C filter install instructions are explicitly stated in there :) ← Thanks Doug, I guess that's an item that is replaced say once a year? And go with a factory filter as opposed to an aftermarket one? B)
  9. You mean if you see alot of 'smoke residue' in the vehicle (windows, etc) you think the mileage might be tampered with? I wonder what people did 30+ years ago (when most folks actually did smoke)? I wonder if a customer that wanted to trade their car in that did not smoke......if they gave him/her less money on the trade because the car was never smoked in? Compared to today that appears that nobody want's to go near a 'smokers car'. Suppose the non smoker had a severe case of constant flatulence!? :o (a condition some refer to as the trouser coughs!) I don't know about you, but I know what car I'm going to look towards! ;) Bottle of Fabreeze & a pine tree air freshener ;) :whistles: :P
  10. lol bran! B)
  11. Hopefully your ES runs pretty trouble free from now on. B)
  12. jasver, is the cabin filter to change? Roughly how much is the part?
  13. You might also want to check e-bay, auto wreckers or auto salvage yards. B)
  14. Fair enough & I agree. B)
  15. That's an understatement! lol
  16. Consider the Michelim Cross Terrains, the Yokohama Geolander G-051 & the all new Toyo Open Country H/T. Those are your best best depending on what your looking for in a SUV tire. B)
  17. Try doing a serch on here which should give you answers to your questions. Good luck with your new GS! B)
  18. I'd wait till the next generation LS comes out.......& consider the AWD option if it's offered.....that way, your winter traction woe's should be kept to a minimum lol ;)
  19. Read your maintenance manual for specifics. If you want to switch to synthetic, I suggest you not get it changed at the dealer.......their prices are astronomical for a synthetic oil change. B)
  20. Confirm the above suggestion, it sounds like something is draining the battery when the car is turned off.
  21. Intresting as there is a boost in both the horsepower & more importantly, the torque department.
  22. Cool clip! B)
  23. Keep us posted when you do get a chance......I'm courious. B)
  24. Was just courious is all. B)
