    How many miles on the ES & what is the tranny service history that you know of?

    It's a filter mesh screen. It's reusable so when you do a tranny flush (I suggest to replace the tranny gasket at the same time as a preventitive measure) all you need to do is clean it & re-install it again. B)

    Sorry guys, but I guess I clueless on what a "dogbone" is. The car has 65K miles and I'm planning on dropping the trans pan this weekend and doing an oil drain and filter change. I'm leary about a trans flush. <_< ← You won't hurt anything by doing a 100% fluid change. My suggestion if your taking out & cleaning the filter mesh screen is to also install a new tranny pan gasket at the same time as a preventitive measure. B)

    I love the appearance of the 00 & 01's from the back end personally.......better than the 97-99's imo. I'd get the newest one you can afford is my best suggestion. B)

    I just finished reading that in my owners manual. So it's perfectly normal operation..........No worries agc! B) ;)

    Should specify in your owners manual. I'm pretty sure mind does the same thing. When you hit 'auto' & the AC light s on (regardless of the temp setting), if you hit the A/C button, does it go off & your still getting air blowing into the cabin (if on hot I assume from the heater ducts)? B)

    Please let us know. I'm not due for routine service for a couple thousand miles, but if they really have a fix, I'll take the car in now. ← I don't think it's anything signicicant really.......a software 'upgrade'? Seems like everybody is still having the problem however on 02+ ES.

    Find out if it's still under furll factory warranty or not. I personally wouldn't buy an RX from a Saturn dealer........if you have to bring the vehicle back, they will have no clue how to fix it. B)

    They need to clear out their remaining inventory......the 05 I'm sure is a good buy & probably a lot of 'wiggle' room if you want to save pretty big bucks & get the previous generation GS. B)

    I'm just wondering why you think they're not HID's? Sometimes it's hard to tell by looking at a picture the intensity or color of a light. ← In the pictures, I don't see a 'blue' tinge in the lights.......they appear white to me. B)
