i was just wondering how much people pay for the insurance throughout whole US. i used to pay 5000$ for liability when i lived in brooklyn and i didnt even asked how much is full collision. i got full collision when i moved to pennsilvania and now i pay 800$ for 6 month. is it above or below average?

ouch. thats some scary and upsetting news. my radio screen is holding good so far but its getting really hot after like 1 hour:(

the japanese verion of Ls400 - toyota celcior comes with cloth seats and a lot of equipment is optional. i saw them in russia. they have the steering wheel on the right side

i dont think its the battery. i hada battery problem last winter and starter was still spinning the engine. it just didnt spin it fast enuff to start. what i think might be your problem is a starter clutch. talk to LS400er guy. he had this problem with his 95 ls and he had to change the starter after all.

do it ASAP yourself or not. since non ethilene glycol based fluid will destroy your aluminium radiator. if you dont want to do it urself then its a pretty good deal. there is nothing technical in the procedure but they chartge 50$ for this everywhere.

even if my stereo is perfectly working i still have to pay 190$ to fix the freaking LEDS????? are you gonna replace the leds that velded in the the cirquit? me and my friend tried it on the dead nakamichi unit and we killed the cirquit coz we overheated it. they are really small and hard to take out and i have some experience in velding

i have this problem too. my 96 ls is starting to suffer from this problem. so far scan/pscan button lights are gone as well as the track button light. whole ac/radio panel is getting pretty hot when i drive at night. i dont know if its normal or not. may be its a begginning of the end?

rotors look pretty thin, even thinner then the eom ones. can u show a pic of the front ones?

i think its a heater core..... do you have a specific smell when u turn the heat on?

5k? thats too much i have a guy in my area with a decent 91 ls400 with 200k miles and he asks 3k but you can lower it up to 2500 i think:)

i wish i had snow over here:( coldest temp here was like 45 degrees and no snow only rains

same here. also alternator replacement doesnt require disconnecting anything in the dash and radio area. you have to disconnect only 1 cable from the alternator.

no its not in gen 2 you reset it with the scanner while gen i you have to do it maually

there is a way to reset it urself. i just dont know it since i'm a gen II person. im sure once gen I people will check this post they will tell u how to do it so stay tuned:)
