  1. I'm sweatin' the specifics here - stock twins range from 10 to 12 at normal levels with max or 18 to 20 some's after tweaking waste gates. I believe the jdm motors run ceramic compressor wheels oem, wich will fail at high levels but allow quicker spool. A new 1996 motor? Wouldn't that be 8 years old? ;) Anyways, a stock gte motor can handle quite a bit of flow and pressure over what the stock turbo's put out. Think t7x and 25+. Are you doing your own install? I think it's safe to say 600 to the wheels on stock internals. Maybe some cams. Good luck.

  3. Fuel pump ecu. Try a search of this forum from all dates and results - I have posted links to this issue in the past. This is the symptom of this item. It could be something else as well though.
  4. As far as I know - those auto boxes are fully electronic. To change shift points requires prgram change via eprom flash or standalone - consult a good performance shop - they may be able to help. I don't know of any mechanical adjustment on those things.
  5. I found a bad ground off the stereo head unit and again at the cigarette lighter was the problem with my old SC. Fixed those and never had another problem under braking. When the bass hit though, the dimmer effect was in.
  6. '00 ecm system is difficult. Maybe there is a way to get your stocker slushbox to shift firmer. Stall converter or valve body - you'll have to go to a good shop and they will want a lot of money. I don't know if it would be worth it without putting a turbo on there first. I really don't know what is under those skirts. Maybe some mounting pieces and body panel. You might have a couple holes or something left behind.
  7. I think 245 might be a little too wide for a 7.5" tire. You should consult the wheel manufacturer or tire distributor first to make sure.
  8. I have had great experiences with both Falken and Hankook. Yokohama has done very well for me on other vehicles.
  9. I like NOPI Nationals in Atlanta for September 18 and 19. I will coordinate this. I have too much work for August to go down but feel free to arrange something. Just making it known that we wish to make a presence for NOPI and anyone whom would like to join, should. This will involve entering the car for show with Team SOLO/Lexus Owners Club.   11. yea 3g's is a total work over with a conservative balck color match but show quality finish. Totally worth it in my opinion.
  12. I was quoted 3k for a show finish repaint. This is buy a guy who does frame off restorations. DuPont Premier black - thick clear and wet sand. Most likely going down this winter. That price includes shaving emblems and repairing slight blemishes as a well as some custom items.
  13. You will probably need two boxes. The 1uz has two coils. Unless there is just 1 ignitor. Try Rollhard or Performance Factory.
  14. Drill some small holes in a place you can't see. That will fix it from ever happening again.
  15. You want 18's. You'll love it. Nopi is in Atlanta. Maybe a little to far for a Az cat. Still more than welcome.

  21. You need to consider flow. Boost is only part of the equation. 10:1 works. I know this. It comes down to how much you want to spend. Daily driver? Track star? Show winner? Dyno queen? This goes to the other cat posting as well about the 400. Search. We've done this hundred's of times.
