so your the one who said something about fwd! ;) thats what made me think we were talking about fwd vs rwd!no problem everyone makes mistakes i know i do! :D since they both own gs 300s they are both rwd cars but im betting the tires is whats making the difference.

im sure it will be a option for chrome wheels they usally allways are!hard to tell by pics what size they are though.i dont think 20 inch!lol but maybe :D

shaking front end that feels like flats on the tires sounds to me like it is something with the tires.how old are the tires on your car? does it do it only at certin speeds? does it do it when you turn? need more info still.also as for overfilling just check the stick and see were the level is at.if its above were it should be then just take some out but if its below were it should be then add some.you should know if its overfilled just by looking at it and seeing if its ready to top off.i dont think thats whats cousing your problem though.let me know about the tires though because there usally the first thing that you look at when you get vibration while driving.also motor mounts but you would feel the vibration while idling if it was that.

even if he has trac control its still front wheel and yours is rear wheel drive.you cant compair a front wheel drive car with a rear wheel drive.they are 2 totally different cars.front wheel drive drives alot easier in snow or slick surfaces then rear wheel drive.i also think nothings wrong with your car its just the way a rear wheel drive car is in the snow.they just stink in the snow period.dont matter if you have abs,trac control or whatever they just spin like crazy.

i agree! :D the guy wasnt being ignorent to anyone thats just his avatar and i dont see the big deal in it.everyones different and to nip pick on a little saying in someones avatar is a bit to much.if you feel like you need to take your info somewere else thats up to you but anywere you go you will find things you dont like but you have to deal with it. this is a great club so you will lose out on alot of good info from other lexus owners and such so to lose that over someones avatar isnt worth it but thats just my opinoin. :D

i bought the dragon intake with cold air box and it works great and keeps the cold air away from the intake.at first i was skeptical but after buying it i was impressed.also makes a nice sound when you hit the gas hard.its a bit pricey though!i think i paid like 100 and something (closer to 200) for it but it might of went down in price.check around on the net for it.

i have a 6 disc pioneer that was originally in my es300 and will sell it for the right price.it works perfect so if you want it just let me know and we can work a deal on it i guess.i was going to keep it but i have no need for it now since i upgraded my whole system.

THATS FOR SURE! i bet thats were they are getting confused because front wheel drive is great in the snow but get in a rear wheel drive car and you dont have any traction!i still think tires are part of the problem but not sure untilwe hear a responce.

all depends on certin tires that you put on the rim.acually 17 or 18 inch rims will help performance of your car not hurt it.cornering and handling will all be better with bigger rims but its up to the tires you put on them to decide if it will be bumpier or not.most of the time you wont feel any difference in bumps but if you put very low profile tires you will feel the bumps a bit more.

what kind of tires is on the car?i know you said its not the tires but they are usally the number 1 reason for slippage on wet or snow roads.does he have rims on the car with low profile tires?stock tires and rims?need more info about them first.

so is the fluid low?if so add some.it could be the air in the lines is now gone and that would make the level go down.also make sure theres no leaks anywere. if you over filled it then its possiable to blow a seal but unlikely because im sure you would smell it and see some sort of leak.just fill to the proper level and see if it still makes the noise.also try to describe the noise a little better so we can help you a bit more.is it coming from the tires?

if you go to the dealer they can make you the key.i dont think you need a master hey in order for them to make you one.check and call your local dealer but im pretty sure it wont cost near that much!

sounds like the ground wire!i had the same problem!did you use 4 guage for the ground?also make sure you are grounding on a clean surface of metal and make sure its tight.hope this helps

i agree it dont sound right for someone to sell you the bulbs,ballasts and headlight housings plus all the wires you need for less then 500!there are still places to buy a aftermarket hid kit for about 350 or a bit more and that would be your best bet!if someone is really willing to sell you all of that factory stuff for that cheap then jump on it but i would make sure your getting everything you need.

thats for sure! just dry up the excess oil with a rag because unless your planning and cleaning the whole motor then using gunk or something like it will make the smell even worse until the burns off unless you wash it with water.best bet is to just do like amf said and use a rag.

i would check the junk yard for that because lexus will try to sell you the whole pump for sure.if possiable take out the seal you need and maybe you might get lucky and be able to buy one.

rear main seal tranny??i think you mean engine right?the rear main seal is in the back of the motor and costs at least 400 bucks.check around though and you might get a better price but the lexus dealer would charge even more so i wouldnt recommend taking it there.

could be you have a leaky valve cover gasket and thats letting in the fumes thru your vents in the car.try putting on the recycler on the ac controls and that should stop any smell from outside the car but i would still get the car checked out for valve cover gaskets because they are the most likley couse of smell coming into the car.

make sure you dont have the positive and negitive wires crossed because then you wont have bass and the speaker will sound crappy.since you replaced the 6by 9 did you check what was positive and what was negitive on the wires?if not you might have them crossed and thats why it has no bass.my 6by 9s have bass so i dont think theres a filter on them.i know they are all connected to the stock amp and the front door speakers do have a filter but i dont think the back ones do.
