bought it either on ebay or at my local stereo shop i cant remember for sure.i know ebay sells them from time to time but i have a 95 so its a different headunit then yours. if your from delaware its not far from philly at all so i can give you the number to my local stereo shop and they can get you anything you want for your car.let me know if you cant find it still and i will pm you the info.the shop is called all that jazz incase you want to look it up yourself.good luck :D

true.some people but blue or other colors in there but i havent heard anyone that put extreme whites.

wow thats crazy!i never had a battery do that to me before.did it ever show sighns of going bad?

what exactly does the whine do?does the car feel like its not shifting down properly or does it sound like a power steering type of whine?need more info.

people been asking this question all the time and its true theres not much performance parts for the es300.if you search for toyota camery you might find a few extra little performace things that might fit the es but thats about it.no clear tail lights no headers and such.it stinks i know how you feel! :D

also maybe some of us should have some loc stickers on hand for the meet.maybe matt can get a couple of us mods that are coming some this way we can represent!just a thought! :D i checked and i will be able to make it no problem!cant wait to see a few of locs members cars that i only get to see in picutres!i will have to get my craftsman buffer out and do some work!the snow killed my gloss!lol :D

i think TurboGS300 is looking for a date. ;) as for the tint 20 percent is fine.i have it on mine and its not too dark but dark enough.anything higher starts to get very light but i dont know how the police is in your town so sometimes you have no choice but to go with lighter tint. unless of course you want to get pulled over all the time! :D

i agree get the engine checked out before worrying about the gaskets.leaky valve cover gaskets wont really harm your engine as long as your oil level is checked and good.take it to the dealer or a local shop to get that engine checked because smoke coming out the exuast is not normal and could be something wrong like amf1932 said.good luck :D

alot of the idle issues was do to a pin hole or such in the intake.no big deal at all and easy to fix.i guess there was some others with idle problems that didnt have to do with the intake but not many.i wouldnt worry too much about that because either way it normally a easy fix. good luck :D

i stand corrected!its a 10 inch!so much on my mind i thought it was 8 but it is for sure a 10 inch. as for what kind to go for i would see about getting another stock one if yours is messed up because without a new amp its not going to push a aftermarket speaker very well.up to you though but make sure to go with a low watt if you do get aftermarket.

lol bug spray might work!!i think its got chemicals in it that desolve.someone told me about that a long time ago but i never tried it either!hehe

welcome to the club! im almost positive its a 8 inch sub.if your going to go with a after market then you could fit a 10 inch in there.use a low watt speaker since your still going to use the same amp to push it. also make sure its a free air speaker because alot of subs dont like to work when there not in a box.remember to get the lowest watt speaker you can though because your amp wont push a high watt sub.kicker is a good sub to think about or maybe a rockford but i dont know if they make a free air type.check around.good luck

this has been discussed a ton of times.i only use high test in my car and most other lexus owners do the same but you can use low octane if you want but be advised it does make your car !Removed! the timing so it dont ping and thus you lose some performance and also carbon buildup from it. i recommend at least 89.i use 93 and when im near a sunoco then i use 94 octane.the choice is yours.

metal polish,plexus,novus should all do the job from what many stated.try a search also on headlight cleaning and you should find alot of post on what worked for other members.i would try the novus plastic stuff i heard that works great.you can allways replace that lens with a new one but that will take some work and heat to get it off so i would adivse you to try to clean it first.

as with any car you plan to buy first check under the hood.go thru all the fluids to start and make sure there clean and look for any sign of a additive in them like that oil that looks and feels like honey!also look underneath the car and check for leaks.check the tires for wear,brakes if possiable and what ever else you think of. i allways drive it for awhile to make sure the temp doesnt get to hot also.look for signs of over heating.like anything orange under the hood that looks like something was spilled on it could be a over heat. im crazy when it comes to buying a new car so i check everything 10 times over but its a good thing to do that just so you know your getting a good car.good luck with it if you get. :D

very true!make sure the box is secure if not you risk breaking the cd changer form it being hit by the box.i also dont think it would make it skip as long as its not like a 1000 watt rockford amp with 2 mtx 9000s. :D

i agree with sw.just because someones having a issure with there car doesnt mean you will! lexus overall is one of the best cars you can buy hands down!bmw,mercedes and the rest of the german euro cars are not nearly as reliable as a lexus.read the reveiws and go test drive a lexus and you will see the difference. now if you like the sportier performance feel type of car then bmw is that car but if you want a reliable softer,better made car and better looks if you ask me then go with the lexus!good luck :D

first off what car do you have?second i had this happen to me before and it was a bad oil pump.if the level in the car is good but the light still keeps coming on it can be telling you that you have bad pressure and it could be a bad pump.or a bad sensor.i would have it checked out asap because if it is a bad pump and you keep driving it like that you will kill the motor.good luck

also my freind was at atco raceway (a raceway near my house) and he seen a ford escort gt running 7s and guess what intake he had?yep thats right weapon-r and also a ton of other weapon-r stuff and my freind stopped by my house just to tell me about it because he knew i had a weapon-r intake.i was suprised to hear that the escort had all weapon-r stuff in it because theres tons of other brands to chose from for a ford!i will try to find the pics of that car for you because it even has a weapon-r tint across his front windsheild.lol im not saying weapon-r is the best because its not but there not as bad as people think they are.

see now wasnt my adivce good??i told you that you would like it! ;) i feel the exact same performance increase around 4500rpms.it just feels like it kicks you back in your seat way more then the stock but thats just me.i also have the cold air box and the ram kit so mine is running outside the engine bay for true cold air.save up a bit more and get that ram kit and then feel the difference because that makes it even more better and really just like a cold air intake. anyway glad to see you like it and good luck! :D
