  1. thats bone cheap!i never heard of getting all that done for that price!i dont think that will happen for any of us here if we needed all that done to our car! :D
  2. very easy to install its all plug and play!as for the headlights being crooked theres a screw to adjust them on your headlight assembly.philips is the best hid lights out there so i think you wont have a problem with them lasting.i know i havent.good luck :D
  3. is there any lights on in the car like a check engine?reason im asking is because if the mass air flow sensor is going bad that would couse it also if theres no cracks in the intake. also welcome to the club
  4. is the sound more on one side in the back or you cant tell?i would say struts to but i would take it to a mechanic to make sure before replacing them. also welcome to the club!!
  5. acually heres a link to the 98 gs400 and also a link to the 99 gs400 and if you look at the 2 in compairson the 98 gs400 got 5 stars from jd power!!!!!!! the 99 gs400 got 4 stars!!i think maybe sw03es got it mixed up :D no big deal though! http://research.cars.com/go/crp/summary.js...d=567&year=1998 http://research.cars.com/go/crp/summary.js...d=567&year=1999
  6. i disagree with that! :( i own a 98 and its never given me one single problem to even talk about on here!i now owned it for about 6 months i guess and love it! just because of one bad gs that happens to be a 98 dont make them all bad. the 98 and 99 are basiclly the same anyway so i dont see how one year would be bad enough to stay away from and the other be good :( anyhow look what i paid for mine on this link and you will be shocked.then again it was a freind i bought it off of so dont go by that price!lol :D http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...=ST&f=1&t=2237&
  7. its another lexus forum thats not even a little bit as good as this one! ;) i cant believe they had to ban someone over that!lol there a mess!
  8. welcome to the club! ebay is were i bought mine so i think thats your best bet also.go with the philips 6000k dsr kit.since you want the little purpulish bule color the 60000k kit is perfect for you and thats also what i have and it looks great!good luck
  9. hmmm are yous talking about the mouse cursor?mine is white with black edges>i never seen a black cursor at least not on my computer but i thought the mouse cursor color is a setting on your own computer.i might be talking about something different!lol
  10. acually the es300 would be the better choice because of gas milage also!the gs will eat much more gas then a es.just a thought! :D
  11. go with a lexus.if money is a issue i would look at the es 300 because its much cheaper then a gs and still has good performance and would be probably a better daily driver.
  12. acually it just fools the video into thinking the car is stopped but the nav should work fine.my freind did this to his and he has no problem.im not sure what wires you need to ground but it should be connected to the brake.it just needs to be grounded and then the video should work all the time. you might want to invest in a wire diagram of your car to find the wires needed to ground.
  13. this site says they have them in 18inch http://www.customwheelsdirect.com/LSportun...tlineWheels.htm
  14. good info!im sure it will help someone on here. :D
  15. i agree if you bought it from a lexus dealer and its not far from you take it back to them for service.if you bought it from a used car dealer or another dealer other then lexus then try and find one near you. i go to cherry hill lexus in nj so im not sure how far that is from you but they seem to be great but of course they all over charge!
  16. lol they would flame each other over there wouldnt they! i like it but just see alot of nissan in it.but like you said maybe its nissan thats bitting off of lexus.then again the nissan body style has been out way before this new lexus style thats coming so the critics will say its lexus thats bitting off nissan but who knows. of course in person it will look alot better!
  17. welcome to the club! im pretty sure you can buy them in 18inch.my freind has them exact ones in 17 inch but i remember him saying he was going to get the 18 inch so im betting you can find them.just look around on some good wheel web sites and you will find them. as for the new car your getting good luck with it and im sure i will be seeing more posts from you soon! :D
  18. are you sure the spots are nehind it?sometimes it looks like its behind it but really its on the front.try a good plastic polish and rub it in real good and see if that gets rid of it. if it really is behind it then its not that hard to take apart.just a few screws and then the whole cluster should come out.
  19. good thinking!i forgot about the garmin.they dont have big screens but they will do the job for navagating.and cheaper! :D
  20. i did it to mine as you can see by the post above me that apoc519 was nice enough to look up for you so if you need any more help let me know.you can buy the stock bulbs online or at the dealer but the dealer charges to much so online is better. :D
  21. all lexus's are good cars!the gs400 is a very very good car.i would recommend it to anyone and im not just saying that because i own one!beleive me lexus is by far the most reliable car on the road!no real trouble spots from what ive seen.like any other car you must keep up on the manience like oil changes etc..but other then that you should be good to go.how many miles on the car you are looking at?
  22. i think it looks like the new nissans also!to much like the nissan for my tast.but we have awhile to see what it looks like on the road so time will tell. :D
  23. theres no 2005 topics because its not out yet. :D nobody owns one for there to be any talk on it.i think there was someone that asked about it once but its still to early to talk about a 2005 since the 04 just came out not long ago.
  24. i dont know what milage you have but when i seen 99 if you do the math you most likely have somewere from 50 to 70,000 miles right?i hope im in the right ballpark so thats why i say 10w-30. i allways started using 10w-30 at around 50,000 miles just for insurence but 5w-30 will work.also keep in mind if you use regular oil (non synthetic) then it tends to get thicker in the colder months so 5w-30 is fine but in the summer i would use 10w-30.but if you take our advice and use synthetic then you dont need to worry about it getting thicker or thinner.either way good luck!
