  1. im pretty sure you got to take the door panel off then roll the window all the way down and see if you can get in there to pop it out.it might acually be screws holding it in.
  2. the 400 should sit still no problem and spin the tires till they lite on fire!lol i never tried it on mine but i know for a fact it will do it.its all about the way you hold the brake down and hit the gas. try a empty parking lot and just mess around a bit until you get it right.your tires might be bald by the time you get it right but you got to expect that if you want to do burn outs.have fun!
  3. all depends on the price difference i guess.i have a 98 400 and no problems with it at all so if its cheaper to take the 98 go for it.also has less milage witch is a plus!
  4. i heard the same thing about the ballasts buring out with that kit.try to find a phillips kit or equivlent.some are made in korea and such so stay away from them. japan or germany are the best.germany being better.phillips kits are all over the place so you shouldnt have trouble finding one.a little more money but worth it in the long run!good luck
  5. since its bumper to bumper i would say yes get it just to be safe.it can save you big buck in the long run!
  6. i like the first ones better.but thats just me.either will do i guess.
  7. if you save up and get the cold air box like me then it will be a true cold air intake and you will see the difference more.does it at least come with the heat sheild.if it does then you can connect a aluminum tube to the end of it and run it down outside the engine bay.or just buy the ram kit that converts the intake into cold air.either will work. see i guess some people on this forum just didnt see that the dragon intake can be a true cold air intake with the heat sheild and ram kit.all air coming into my car is cold because its sucking in air from outside the engine not inside just the same as anyone with a true cold air intake. save a few bucks and buy that kit when you get a chance.its worth it.good luck
  8. yes you can go to home depot buy some alominum tubing and a couple clamps and make your own ram air kit this way it will be a true cold air intake. or just save up a few bucks and buy the ram kit from them and then it will be true cold air intake.it is coming with the heat sheild correct?
  9. wow this topic really got big!i had ALOT of cars and never used the parking brake in any of them except the few that were manual trans.i never once had a problem in any car with regards to the brakes, mounts etc.. other then changing the pads and old worn mounts. i do however agree to at least pull it up once in a while to keep it ajusted if your like me and never use it. :D
  10. did you get it out yet?it is still tight even with the clips out so you will need to pull harder.try getting a flat head on both sides of the vent and pull that way.mine was tight also so i know what you mean.just keep trying till it pops out.good luck
  11. couldnt say it better steve! if you dont like it when you get it you can allways sell it but im pretty sure you will like it.sound alone will make you like it.haha like i said though dont expect huge gains in performance because you wont get it but you might feel a bit more power towards the high end like i did.also gas milage is just about the same but i get about 3 to 5 miles a gallon more then before.not a huge increase but still better then stock. also when the filter goes bad you can replace it with a k&n filter.
  12. not really other then make sure the sensor is level because sometimes that messes it up but it should be fine.just unhook the battery and then unhook the stock intake and setup your new one.is really pretty easy.if you need more help just ask!good luck
  13. yes watch what you buy when it comes to cars off ebay.check the seller out real good and look at all his feedback before buying from him.my freind just got ripped from a guy on ebay that sold him a real lemon!!trans went the second day it was delivered to him!and the guy had alot of great feedback.after alot of complaints the guy finally sent my freind a new tranny!just becareful and good luck :D
  14. 3100 at 60mph sounds like you dont have overdrive on but it could be normal.im pretty sure mine is like 2600 rpms at like 60 65mph with overdrive on.check and make sure its on.if it is one then try to count your gears as they switch and see if overdrive kicks in.if it dont then it could be a problem.
  15. yep i agree hid is one of the best mods to our year cars. mine was very easy to instal just plug and play like sk's.they sell 9005 on ebay also if thats all your car will fit but keep in mind that 9005 kits are made for high beams so the beam of light that the lights put out is not the same as 9006 i would imagine.you might blind people on the road if its made for high beams but im sure it could be modded.good luck
  16. ajay95 explanied it pretty well just twist the plug out of the light assembly first then twist the bulb out of the plug.its one of the easiest things to do to a car.the drivers side plug might be close to the battery so if you have big hands you might not be able to get it out without a plyer or worst case remove the battery.
  17. take a thin flat head screw driver and just push the clips forward and they will pop off then you can just pull the vents out.only thing is you have to find the clips because the will fall inside the dash but usally are easy to find.i lost both of mine but it really dont hurt the vent by not putting them back.its still nice and tight even without the clips.good luck
  18. some say its bad some say its great.i have one and havent had one single problem with it so i dont see a problem with it.i have the cold air box to go with it though so mine is a little different but the sound will be the same most likley.it sounds deep and i like it.only when you push the gas hard you will hear the deep sound but if you drive like grandma then it will sound normal. performance is minimal but you can feel a little more power towards high end.also looks nice so for the price if thats all you have to spend then go for it! :D
  19. i think your talking about the hand brake and no its not needed for parking on flat or even a little slope in the road. only time you need it is if your on a big incline but thats rare.i never use mine. :D
  20. why are you trying to disable it anyway?
  21. the antenna is connected to the radio so no fuse would be in the fuse panel for it.only way to disable it is to disconnect it from either the radio but you need to know what wire or strait from the antenna.
  22. looks white.i had silverstars before i bought hid and they were the best oem replacments i ever used.
  23. i guess the camera made the lights look like hid.most cameras self dim so it probably distorted the pic.looks good anyway. :D
