check the contacts on the light housing.i had the same problem and fixed it by rubbing the contacts with some sand paper and that fixed it.if you replaced the bulb then its the contcts on the light not the bulb.

good idea about the fuel filter i thought i changed it but i didnt.im going to do that job tomorrow.its a easy one i think.

nope still cranks like crazy and then finally kicks over.

sounds to me you have overdrive off.if i shut overdrive off then my rpms are about 3100 at 70mph.with overdrive on its about 2300rpms.if you do have overdrive on and its that high then im it could be your tranny is going bad.

the es looks alot better and rides better also!ive driven a 97 solora and in my opinoin is no were near as nice as a es in rides or anything else.just my opinoin though

maybe i should of put more info about it. it starts on perfect in the moring.(first turn and it cranks right up) after driving for a bit and warming the motor if i shut the car off and go to restart it ,it cranks but dont start right up(just cranks like its not getting fuel). then i stop cranking and start cranking again and it starts right up.sort of like the fuel pump isnt getting enough pressure to start it but yet in the moring it starts right up.i cant figure it out. doesnt make a difference if i push the gas or not. it cranks fine but just dont kick over. and i have 87 octane that my wife put in the car once but it still does the same thing.i just cleaned the throttle out and also oil change yesterday but it did it again today to me after i got dont washing it and then trying to start it.

yea see sometimes people do it because they cant afford what they are trying to steal and some do it because of jealousy.see every person in the world has somekind of jealousy against someone.example(a movie star)we are all jealous of how much money they make right? 95 percent of people would never do anything to hurt another just because there a little jealous of what they have but then theres that 5 percent who would love to and would scratch your car or steal from you.thats why i own a gun!someone steals from me they better not let me catch them because i will shoot!lol fact is most of the time its just kids with no or little brains but sometimes its a bigtime theif who does it for the money.

i use 94 octane but i guess you really dont have to go that far!im a little extreme with my car so nothing but the best goes into it.i would use 91 but thats just me.i feel a differnce in performance between 87 and 94 so thats why i use it.

you can do what i did and just buy a old key from ebay and use the remote from it for your car until you buy a new key from lexus.my key id and the one you need is hyqwt-b i think thats how its spelled.you can find them one ebay but make sure its -b and you can reprogram it.i put the instrutions on how to program a key for our years on here awhile back so just do a search and you will find it.

since the web site crashed i will repost about my starting problem incase someone replied and i didnt get a chance to see it. my car starts fine in the morning but after i drive it awhile and go to restart it i have to crank alot for it to start.i still cant figure this out!any help is appreciated!

not on mine that i know of!unless the chip i have toke care of that but i think it will do 135 without blinking twice!i got mine to somewere around that once allready and it could of went further but dont plan on doing it again!!lol. if you have a great long strait road somewere around were you know theres no cops go give it a try and you should be able to get it up to 130 also.i dont think there is a speed restriction on it.

no it wont be a waist of time because im sure the wax is mostly gone that you put on a couple weeks ago.wax only lasts a good week or maybe 2 if it dont rain!

i wish there was!!theres not much to do in that area without spending a few dollars.did you ever clean the throttle body out with cleanerthat and a fuel cleaning does help somewhat on performace but for the most part you have to spend some bucks to get it faster.

all it is is a resister and it wont do anything.total junk! heres a pic of someone who bought one from ebay and they emailed it to me to show me how bad it was.he left the guy negitive feedback so i emailed him and he sent me this pic. shows you not to trust some people on there thats for sure!

they sell car frebreeze now too!!!! :D check it out at a walmart or auto store and you will find it.spray it all in the vents and floor and that should help kill the smell :D
