  1. I'd buy one if I wanted to go back to owning two cars, but I don't want to that and wouldn't want it for my only car. If you can find one, the deals are good while GM still has the employe pricing.
  2. You saw that episode of mythbusters too? :P ← I've actually known guys who tried it back in the early 60's.
  3. Maybe the afermarket guys over rate their K?
  4. The referenced keys on Ebay are not factory keys anyway.
  5. I think this is a repeat but: http://www.snopes.com/autos/techno/keyless.asp
  6. Asians oversell horsepower http://www.detnews.com/2005/autosinsider/0.../A01-283759.htm
  7. Regular gas vs high test is going to save you 1 cent per mile, if you are still getting the same MPG. Gimicks don't work, Typhoon included. Save that money and spend it on gas.
  8. Sounds like when you tried to start the car on the incline, it got starved for fuel and maybe ingested a little dirt and stuff. I'd start it up, smoke or not, and let it run awhile go get some good gas back in the motor.
  9. LOL. I'm in the northeast corner of the state near the Tenn, GA border.
  10. Mazda got nailed last year for overstating HP.
  11. Our plates always come with a permanent diagonal warp. I put mine in a half frame and lined the back with a sample of dymomat. It's straight and quiet.
  12. All I know is straight grain is straight and burly is curly. The burly is usually more expensive. Burl walnut. Straight grain walnut.
  13. That's EXACTLY what i have to avoid! Thanks i'll deffinetly try that. :D :) So it is walnut burl?? LOL ← I have no idea what kind of wood it is. My poor little IS300 don't have no wood. :D
  14. What should i use as a sealer over the stain? Isn't the clear acrylic sort of a sealer? ← I use a sanding sealer over the stain on walnut gun stocks. It seals up the pores and grain so the clear coat comes out smooth. Acts as a leveling agent so you don't end up with tiny ridges due to the wood grain.
  15. Could be a tire with an off center and/or broken belt.
  16. Use a sealer, then hit it with a couple coats of clear.
  17. Maybe she figgered with a name like "AznChick" guys would click here anyway.
  18. I think he wants to know where the fluid should be in relation to the marks on the dipstick.
  19. Edmunds.com says that the invoice cost is $49,357. Their true market value, what others are paying is $56,824 so I kinda doubt you're going to get them much less than $56,000. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/lexus/gx47...ntmv.1.1.Lexus*
  20. Are these a good fit with no leaky, etc? Any pics with them lit up, as in are they as bright or brighter than stock? Are they complete units?
  21. So that's what those round things are LOL They're in the back too, what's that all about? ← For backing up. :D
  22. Aquapel on all the windows will keep stuff from spotting them. For me an application lasts about 6 months. On the windshield it beats Rainx hands down.
