  1. Sorry, I am new to the forum and this has been more than likey covered in some area of the forum but I have searched long enough. I have the 2005 IS300. Lexus says I need to use premium Gas, but with Gas prices this high I wont be able to drive this thing around. Is there any kind of void of warranty or damage to the car that can be done by usinf 87 instead of 91? I owned a GTI before this car and have always run Syn Oil. What oil would you all suggest? Does anyone have any tricks that can increase gas milage? Other than the standard Cold Air intake or exhaust upgrade. Has anyone tried the Typhoon thinf that sits in the air passage behind the air filter? Havent heard many reviews on it. thanks this forum is amazing.
  2. Thanks for all the comments. I would like to keep the car looking as stock as absolutley possible. Mounting a monitor where the factory one would go sounds like a good option. Just want a product that does not make me type in all kinds of info while I am driving. That is why the hands free thing seemed so cool. Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hands free for you, sucks. The system they sell is amazing but they are over priced by $1000 dollors, I found the manufacuter for their systems and it would only cost me $700 bucks from them. Instead of the 2 grand hands free is trying to get me for. www.mp3car.com is an intresting site but I really do not have that much computer brains and spending a few months researching is just not worth it to me. Thanks for all the responses,
  3. I just bought a pearl white 2005 IS300. I wanted to buy the car with Navigation, but unfotunatly, since the 2006 is coming out. I couldnt find a dealer with a white IS with Nav. The dealer reffered me to an aftermarket company called "Hands Free For You." www.handsfreeforyou.com. The have a pretty intresting product. But it does not have a navigation screen, it is all voice activated. Has any one seen a product like this? If so does it work well? what are the pros and cons for this. Coast is about $2000 Another question for anyone that has strong knowledge in this area. Is it possible to get the new 2006 navigation put into my 2005? Any help would be great. I am looking to buy soon, but want to make sure I am doing the right thing.
