  1. Paul, I did a Cars.com and Edmunds search and the car is extremely competitively priced and it includes: Comfort Package, the Navigation System and Advanced Parking Guidance Package, the Navigation System/Mark Levinson Package. I’m leaning on keeping my LS 400 just because I’m a little concerned about the 53K miles on the LS460. I drive about 30 miles each way; so I’m thinking about keeping the LS 400 and have it rack up the 60 miles a day commute. Previous owner was brought the car in often for routine services, based on Car Fax. The car was serviced every 3 months or 5K. Only “issue” I see is the Dealership looked at the door window during every service. I test drove the car and it was super quite. Nothing wrong with the window, controls, door, or seals and I didn't hear any wind noise.
  2. Greeting, I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 LS 460 with about 53300 miles on it for about $40,000. Pretty much loaded out. What do you guys think? Note: I own a 1999 LS 400.
  3. Ok, I got a a response. Does anyone have an answer?
  4. 1990LS400, Good call. I'm happy that I didn't get the unit installed in the glove compartment.
  5. I've done several searches and couldn't find the answer I'm looking for. I have developed a crackling sound from my left front speaker and tweeter. It is very pronounce when I max out the volume. It is almost unnoticeable at lower volumes. When I was getting my Sirius radio installed, the technician noticed the same thing. He was thinking the amp was going bad. I was wondering if the HU or amp controls the front speakers. Also, I have the navigation system so do I have a Pioneer or Nakamichi amp?
  6. 1990LS400, You are probably right. I was just thinking about the would-be thief breaking into my car just to get my Stiletto 100. I also made the assumption that I could still change stations with the remote. I guess I'll have to test with the console armreast up and down.
  7. Has anyone tried mounting a device other than a cell phone in the Integrated Cell Phone armrest area? I was thinking about mounting my Sirius Stiletto 100 inside the armrest because I like the clean OEM look. Any comments?
  8. Has anyone tried installing satellite radio on a 1998 - 2000 LS400 with the factory Navigation system? If so, are there any dealer/aftermarket tuner kits other than plug and play that will work with my radio? I did a search but only saw topics on 03-04 LS 430s.
  9. Hi Guys, I just looked at my power steering resovior and discovered I was almost out. I was wondering if a power steering leak could cause a PO135 check engine error?
  10. Part-wise, are there any differences between the front and rear O2 sensors?
  11. I agree, the instructions were excellent.
  12. SKperformance, I'll give the sea foam a try. I'm also going to check the vacuum hoses to make sure none have come loose. BTW, my check engine code was P0135 = O2 Sensor Heater; Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
  13. My check engine light just came on. I took it to Autozone and they checked the computer. Turns out the code read I have a faulty O2 sensor. How many O2 sensors are in the car and where is the cheapest place to get OEM replacements? Thanks, Derek
  14. I just upgraded my navigation system to the 2005 (actually says 2004). I have a 99 LS 400 and the ECU was also on the left (driver's side). 1990LS400 thanks for the instructions.
