  1. btw - "Full test" as they call it is up on Edmunds for GS350 F, car looks quite competitive.
  2. I realize these are very subjective choices, but I'm not impressed. The XF is my favorite of the 3 and probably the least reliable too. No mention of the highly successful new/current 5 series or the soon to be released new GS.
  3. The new GS will not be release until next month. That's what I was told when viewing the car at Pebble Beach last August.
  4. Thats an easy one, if all specs are the same, I would buy the Lexus of course. It is more relaible and has better dealership, but they are not all the same. Each excels at different areas, it all depends on the buyer's priority. Agreed. Both new GS and new 5 are my preferences for mid size premium sedans.
  5. Happy New Year, (ignoring the Republican right wing crap and Democrat left wing crap, lol)! Yes, America can do in 2012! B)
  6. I remember several recalls on my Lexus IS350 in last couple of years(I can think of 3 recalls off the top of my head) and 2 TSIB fixes. But I've had zero unscheduled visits for defects in/out of warranty. The recall visits to the service department were always easy with loaner car, car wash, gas tank filled, and a $500 gift card for the valve spring recall. Lexus customer service still is the benchmark, better than Mercedes, Porsche, Ford, Jag, Toyota, GM based on my actual ownership experiences.
  7. Are you a man of few words? Surely you have an opinion on some of the items. Sure I do, but none of the items mentioned were new or original which is why I commented as I did. I'll throw in my 2 cents on gas price discussion in article. Higher gas prices in US are no big deal for me and I understand the point made in article. I was pulling your leg ST. LOL.. But for a more interesting item on gasoline, read the item I just posted on the USA now exporting more gasoline/fuel than any other product made in America. Cool, I did read the article somewhere else on fuel exports from US. The weak US dollar has created a boom in tech exports. Although in the articles about fuel exports, I see no mention of the weak US dollar.

  9. Nothing new in that article. More importantly, Happy New Year!
  10. I thinks it's more of a novelty, at taxpayers expense.
  11. I've run low profile tires for years and never had a blowout (30/35/45 series), but obviously on bad roads they are more likely to be damaged and require more care when driving.
  12. Potential for death by distraction...
  13. Seriously got my interest...
  14. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your Lexus safely

  18. I'm thinking that could be my next Lexus, super hot.
  19. Makes me wonder if the new GS350 will have it, the display on the dash looks like Ipad.....
  20. $3K bumper damage is significant damage.
  21. The look is great. No comments on ride quality I guess.
  22. Looks good, nice response to CLS.
  23. Either way, need to get bumper fixed.
  24. All low mileage leases of about 10K miles per year. Expect to pay another $100 per month or so to get normal mileage of 15K miles per year.
