You have an 2001 ES 300 but your profile to the right says RX 300 ? Ceramic pads are going to bite more but make sure they are installed by someone qualified to install and lubricate it completely. Changing your fluid would be a better way to improve braking.

You can get a build list from the dealer once you provide them with the VIN. Whether they are inclined to actually do it is another problem.

You put this in the LX section ,so i'll move it over to the GX one. The Escalade holds very little value where as even 10 year old Lexus have a very good resale value to the point where it does not get any lower and you can sell them for what you paid.

I don't think they steal the cover but misplace it. Normally in a body shop they will disconnect a battery as it may sit for a few days and rather than reconnecting it to move it around especially in and out of the paint booth since it may be all masked up already they pop the cover off to take it out of gear. Some places may forget to replace it.

Still never heard of JIN there is only JUN and JIC in Japan from all the companies i do know of in the aftermarket business.

99% of all the taillights you see in red and clear are aftermarket ones with the same poor quality. They are new units just made by sub par workers with a silicone gun. They all leak and have ill fitting seams. The only way to get better quality ones is to buy Junction produce ,wald or other high end replacements from japan for $500 and up.

Also another option is using a hollow bolt and nut with washers.

Ahh that is a different question. You want to modify the existing one to work at will. The easiest way is to run a pair of wires back to the relay and add a switch to have full control. You would need to attach a wire to the DRL green wire on the relay. Then have a diode would be needed to reconnect it to the existing circuit unless you wanted to assume full control and not have them automatic. Then use a switch and mount it with the wire leaving and going to a ground source . Once you turn the switch on it will send a ground back to the relay signalling to the relay that the parking brake is on so it will shut down. The diode is used to not send current back in the circuit that you are altering without affecting anything else. It is located inside the right upper part of the dash. As mentioned before the factory service manuals are worth there weight in gold.

I have to agree with some of the above. It is a road hazard and is in no way any liability for Lexus to fix. If you want to protect the rad and grille areas more use mesh from a screen door and attach it to inside the bumper it will protect it from debris and bugs getting caught. Use the nylon mesh not the metal one.

Odd you feel shafted because of an external mount for a radio is more important than the vehicle itself. Lexus does not break ties for no reason. Your assumption is that they are shafting you but why? I have not even heard of it no longer being offered. I am not a fan of the Sirius line up much as i have XM on an external mount in my LS400. You also did not have the vehicle form the factory with the option it is a dealer installed option. So all in all your problem is with the dealership and you should make them resolve it as it is in there contract as you stated.

So if you have a clear bra on your car add the model and year and which parts of your car where done. If you know what kind of film such as 3m and its thickness. How much did you pay and how do you like the product and its install.

I would think the ES is the "bread and butter" not the RX.
