  1. OK this might change the angles of pics for you. The new marketing material is at the dealers now for October delivery and the 600H is set for early in the new year. I love the car inside out , it is a wide and mean looking car . I want this so bad with a GS450H as they are real super cars to me. Time to sell the house and get an apartment to buy this thing. Here is some pics from the Toronto Auto show this year.
  2. ABS issues are pretty common with the 92-96 ES . Not because of a defect but when the wheel bearing get worn out they make the sensor separate further which makes the magnetic hall sensor not see the CV joint turn which causes and error. Get your wheel bearings checked for excessive play. Only problem is the old sensor is probably good but to replace your hub it needs to be pressed out which destroys the sensor. So you would need a new sensor and hub to fix the problem.
  3. I would call around and find out there policies. I have an LS and ES neither bought form a dealer but i am good friends with the whole dealership . I had some work done over the past few days and for the first time in any Canadian dealer i was given a free loaner. It was only a ES330 but was an amazing touch to feel important. I like CPO cars as it saves time looking for the better treated cars .
  4. Did you check for any power on the harness sockets with a volt meter?
  5. Did you change the pads only? Most new pads will sound rough for the first few miles as they are biting hard.
  6. Does the dealer not sell one?
  7. I know a guy local who did 13.36 in the quarter with his 350 I test drove the 450H yesterday .OMG it is unbelievable fast , i want one real bad.
  8. Did you ever lift up the spare tire just in case there is something under it?
  9. Do you have and Check engine lights? It may be a loose/worn wheel bearing telling the car it is slipping .
  10. Do a search on your engine code which is a common one and see what you find.
  11. Whoa ., glad things came out on top . Now don't trow the ES under the rug , i am sure things can be saved. Besides ballasts are indestructible.
  12. I agree with the mounts as well as the balancer. Another thing to look at is if the fan clutch is seizing up. I would not suspect an ignition problem as it goes away higher in the rpms which is where they only get worse especially distributor caps.
  13. It has 3 nuts right? One for each side and one for both . The proper way is to pull off the rotors and turn the spring for a better adjustment.
  14. Also make sure you fan bearing/clutch is not sezing.
  15. Bank 1 is by the firewall , bank 2 is the rad. sensor 2 is after the cat
  16. So everything is tip top now?
  17. A older style maf should be about $100-$200 at the most unless you find one being parted out which is common in the tri state area.
  18. You can without the clear bra but you will need to be polishing them every month. With my fog lights alone it is a cheaper plastic and it oxidizes and yellows in days not months. The headlights usually last a few months. With the clear bra the air does nothing to the finish and it also fills in any imperfections perfectly.
  19. Headgasket leak letting it get burned so no traces in the oil. The PS pump is the pump for the hydraulic fan as well. Sounds like you have either a blockage or air.
  20. How did you find them?
  21. Well it is only a reverse of polarity for the motor to work , so if it works one way and not the other it would be a switch problem. They work in series and starts at the drivers control and then feeds each switch. I would try switching another window switch from a different door and see if it works.
  22. eBay is a good shot.
  23. Is the hesitation after getting off the gas? Most drive by wire systems have this type of issue. When you are cruising along and let go of the gas and push it again the tranny is waiting for further input to make sure it knows what you want before following through. Taking it our of O/D and using it in pwr mode also alleviates the issue on my LS.
