  1. I have a 350 loaner and lvoe this car . I can't belive it is an entry level lexus. Funny enough as i inspected it i noticed the rear bumper was weird looking. I noted it to the guy and he don;t worry about it. Upon closer inspection in better light i noticed a 3 foot dent/scratch(RR door) as well as the rear bumper not being waxed but buffed so low that it was showing primer across a 2 foot area. It is as rough as sandpaper and polish spray all over the corner of the car. I called them, back today and told them and they said show the manager when i return it. I tried to get the gold but it was gone. The weird thing is they said everyone hates that colour but me. Oh well i still love the car by far keyless go is such an amazing feature combined with cooled seats . Having the tilt wheel back on the ES really finishes it up.
  2. They should fit fine with a good offset. Get a good shop who will guarantee the fitment with no rubbing.
  3. Turn the heat on and see if it is actually hot. If it is then it is either a specific temp sender for the gauge ( my civic has 3 one for the fan,ecu and dash separately). Or the gauge itself.
  4. Never heard of it on the boards unless it was a sludged engine from an ES/RX.
  5. Very nice work and tutorial but really has not much to do with a BFI that i can see. It is a cold air intake with a chamber restricter plate.
  6. I don;t think it would help much since the ES bulbs are on a slant and not recessed back enough to help diffuse the direct light emitted from the LED towers. I have a set of towers and like them alot.
  7. Lots of things. Hard to say without seeing and driving the car. When you are not braking it drives straight? Could be bad brakes or control arms .........
  8. No problem ,get the code for free from any parts store and it should all make sense. Or invest in a code reader as it works for any 97 and newer car and some earlier which is an investment in itself . It only costs about 30 on ebay and saves time ,money ,gas and not knowing with out help.
  9. Possible dirty throttle body as a good start from a sticking iacv a/c idle up valve. Sea foam
  10. I have them in 2 of my cars and love them to death. With a good flush it will brake on a dime.
  11. How are your rear plug wires? Have you changed your oil since the seafoam that is seems to have overdosed on? :) You may have a slight sludge build up and the oil may need some more cleaning. Otherwise how are your engine mounts?
  12. Lots of questions but most are answered previously. Try a search on here in the LS section for brakes alone.
  13. If you can pop it out the paint may not be damaged much and not need to be repainted. Pop it before the heat sets it in a weird shape.
  14. You don't want water proof but one that breathes ,water repellent lets air in but moisture out. Biggest thing with a car cover is to always use the same side when using it. Also putting it on a dirty car is no good either as it will get dirty and scratch the finish .
  15. They can pull the broken rod to release the lock and open it for you to repair the door lock.
  16. Fixing a chip only costs about $50-100 and is outsourced ,so need to go to the dealer.
  17. Depends on the temperature. 600-1200 from warm to cold idle.
  18. I still get the nitrogen for free , i just go to Costco with eh tires unmounted and they are happy to do them for me.
