  1. Fuel filter is a good starting point. Is the relay for the fuel pump functioning properly?
  2. The faster you drive the more gas you use which causes a vacuum effect by displacement. Also the less gas in the tank causes the pressure to fluctuate as air will expand and contact unlike the liquid fuel .
  3. The problem with a 95 and newer LS 400 is they have 4 pot calipers so the x factor/ back spacing needs to clear them. Then the over all offset of the rim then the width in that order are how you find out if they fit. A good manufacture makes a wheel with disk clearances in lo medium and high to clear brakes. The overall diameter of the rim means nothing and will not affect rubbing in any way.
  4. Turn the fan by hand , see if it has any resistance but still turns. Does it make the loud whirrrr when you first start up? If not then the clutch has no oil and is not activating.
  5. this is about 10 years old now?
  6. 40psi on my winter 18's and 50psi on my summer 20's
  7. I would see if it is only one side that is giving you the problem or both. If one the above fix works to align them on a wall. If both are high adjust the arm on the right rear lower control arm behind the wheel up and down to get both in the right spots.
  8. It all depends on how much the wheels stick out . If it is less than 1/2 and inch the fenders can be rolled to cover then up . I have mine pulled out in front about 1 1/2 inches to clear as i have a 15mm spacer for the brakes and air suspension.
  9. I use motul synthetic oil as it flows better than anything in cold . I park outside and use my car starter to give it a good warming first. Last night was -32 with windchill but hey it is plus 13 on Sunday. That is in Celsius.
  10. It can be done and you splice into the wires for the cd changer. The deck thinks it is getting an audio signal from the changer but the switch installed selects the ipod or sat radio. I am planning on doing the same thing to mine also. Not sure on which wires though.
  11. No problems other than bushings and other suspensions parts wearing out.
  12. Alignment is only in order after making sure all components are good otherwise an alignment is a waste of money since the second it rolls out the door the settings are gone. Ball joints ,control arms and tire rods are all in order for inspection.
  13. I have schraders on my LS winter wheels combined with there own read out for temp and pressure , i like them for the 3 months i have had them on.
  14. Glad it worked, most people think i am just crazy . I know i can get better mileage from mine if i could figure out this rich issue , that makes it burn instead of sip. When it runs right i use 6 Liters per 100km but when it is rich it throws out 11 almost double. I am going to replace my iridium's from 2 years ago this weekend for $55 Where did you get your set up and how much ? I also love the variable controller as it almost never turns on unless i am stopped. The drain is much less also unless it really heats up being parked. It never gets to the point it did when on 12vdc to the battery @ 100% . How did you mount your probe tip as mine will not activate the fan unless i only have the tip pressed in the fins. Any further so i can put the rubber boot on and the probe will not activate the controller .
  15. It will not have the level system it is made for cars with factory halogen bulbs. To have xenon system built in would be too much work and expense to match oem.
  16. It sounded like the fuel pump was not working in the first place . Make sure the battery is fully charged. turn the key to run not start and listen for the fuel pump in the trunk. No whirring noise ,no pump.
  17. I see no comparision of toyo's so they do not make any linear statement without them for atleast one aspect.
  18. ebay , they are cheap and easy to do with instructions.
  19. no no , i agree with you . I was just stating that most would have no clue to what it is to establish a unique value on having the part for them to suffer a loss.
  20. It is a lcd panel behind the mirror that has leaked out. It is used to dim the mirror from glaring rear headlights. Other than wetsanding it may not come out.
  21. Sounds like the sensors are good but the roof ecu is crapped .
  22. you need a load resistor for led's , they come in a few flavors and cross the positive and negative wires to make the system think it is the same voltage. Get one per bulb and it will stop , but be warned they need to be mounted properly as they get hot.
  23. Funny enough i don't think 99.999999 percent of rx owners even know what a vc is never mind how it would help them. lol
