  1. You may have installed the previous bulb wrong causing a short.
  2. I would just run a wire in the door to the lock for activation.
  3. The fluid gets heated up by turning , so if you drive the highway and only turn when you park it will only get to the hot min.
  4. It is not the right area but how much are you looking to sell them for?
  5. I would look at the relay it sounds like it is corroded.
  6. If you find the lights on ebay with bulbs and ballast it is about 400 if you are lucky.
  7. If the torque was an issue it would be addressed by the wheels having 6 studs like most high torque trucks not by the design of it.
  8. What do you want to know ? If your RX is Canadian or Japanese ? If it starts with 2it is Canada and J is Japan.
  9. They are removable , It takes some effort but lift them up once at the highest position and they pop off. Just reinsert them the same way and push down until they click.
  10. Agree! they are cheap now. . like $40 for OBDII comes w/the scanning capability for new cars as well. telling people i have a check engine light, means nothing. it's like telling your doctor i am feeling pain but not telling him where the pain is. agreed
  11. The proof is in the pudding with any warranty. Read the fine print over with someone technical and see who has more exclusions to know who is going to back up a claim and who is going to find an excuse of what is not covered.
  12. You just need a new ballast , you can buy it separately but ebay has them all the time.
  13. They will work but not properly. The oem bulbs will not fit the halogen headlights and it has no sensors attached for the level of the car for height adjustment. Easier to get aftermarket 9006 bulb set ups.
  14. 1 is to test the connectors on the block then see if jumping the posts activate the pump. Sometime the relays open up when pulled and you can see corrosion.
  15. Hmm , i am not sure what would cross reference . I would order one online and have it mailed to you for less than a dealer would sell it anyway.
  16. I like the way the LS600h has a thin blue surround on the grille emblem. Not sure what it is for though , or even if it lights up.
  17. Thanks but that is no consolation !!!! LOL All in due time , one day i will be at the point where it will be worth my investment to buy one and set it up but by then the LS will have a v12 hybrid motor or a diesel. Ohh to only have a job/career that paid me more.
  18. I would return the cap and get one from the lexus dealer. The caps are pretty specific as to how much vac they hold and release. Besides oem ones are like $20
  19. If they have magnetic train why not use it for cars suspension. It would cause a nice float but instantly stiffen. Some what like gm uses for their shocks with metallic flux which causes it to thicken by adjusting voltage to them for instant response. My car is no lower , and i get my air from costco still. They never hassle me but i usually bring the wheels off the car by themselves. Their is a place on lakeshore that will fill for $20 but the guy was a real prick the last time i went so i no longer recommend then.
  20. Do not go for a long drive without checking what it is first. It could be anything and it could lead to major engine failure. You make no mention of the year so i do not know what scanner you need. Go by pep boys or napa before you leave for a free scan.
