  1. mines in japan makes an ecu but it is about 1500-2000
  2. Agree, it is normal as it heats the coolant and cats for emissions.
  3. It is rpm speed related if shifting out of overdrive makes it worse. The rear end of the tranny is still spinning at the same speed so it has to be engine related. Start with engine mounts and idlers fan blades and harmonic dampener . Then make sure the engine is running right.
  4. From the other posts of the same it seems to be your egr pipe may be leaking connected to the exhaust from a crack. Otherwise you MAF could use cleaning.
  5. They can be found from WALD or WORK both can have them set up in high and low disk offsets so you can clear big brakes if you have a 95 or newer , otherwise you can have an 11 inch wide rear with 5 inches of lip out back when ordering them.
  6. Did you turn the steering wheel to make sure it did not lock the wheel?
  7. I wish i could find a pair for my trunk they are OEM only for 98 at $130 each.
  8. It will only lock them up if the weight at the bottom of the belts are shifted out of its center. It is a small pendulum weight that locks when ever weight transfer is detected.
  9. The previous gen RX came with factory HID's?
  10. The iat they refer to is the MAF signal. It will not do anything to a toyota for more than 5 minutes. The reason why toyotas are so reliable is because the ecu's responds to changes and makes new base lines . So it will work for a couple minutes and then revert back to normal again.
  11. Start by sea foaming it. Sounds like the throttle is sticking and not chocking the engine.
  12. Bad battery with sticking hinges. Or A really bad thief who could not break into the car properly and bent all the arms enough to strain the motors .
  13. all 97 and ups have them , so you need to buy a whole different car.
  14. I have a similar problem with my 98 LS where on the highway the slightest increase on the pedal caused the trany to downshift. but it is the transmission reacting to the engine not working efficiently. Rev the engine in increments of 500 rpm's and see if it is a solid vibration you are getting or if the vibration comes and goes. Get some sea foam and dump it in the tank as well as that cleared mine up immediately.
  15. Your clock spring is either disconnected or broken. It is located under behind the steering wheel and is a coil inside an assembly which wires the horn , cruise , and airbag.
  16. you have vvt-i so you need a different engine to install the trd one.
  17. obd 1 ,obd 2 is for 96 and newer cars but the 94 es300 had it also.
  18. I actually needed the transmission mount not the whole tranny, Also the lower control arms i need both left and right sides are for the rear wheels they have level sensors on them.
  19. The original is supposed to have a wire mesh covering as well ? Are you sure the one you changed was an original ? It is rare to see an aftermarket intermediate or y pipe as well made as OEM. Possible but rare. If you can hold one end of the pipe and the replacement one has the other end flop down it is cheap. If it will hold straight then it atleast has a good spring and coupling
  20. It is your pump the system naturally will get rid of air all by itself, it may have a plugged screen on the solenoid though as the high pressure pushing through a blockage would make noise. The new fluid they added with the line would have broken down some of the dirt but it jsut clogged up again.
  21. Air suspension is going to be softer but more variable , the 460 is a bigger car and will lean until someone makes some sway bars or urethane sway bar bushings.
