place :Canada, Ontario , Toronto club : www.toyotanation.com toyota and lexus owners for Toronto area if not Canada place : twice a month west end meet is every second wednesday in the Krispey kreme parking lot brittania and Mavis in Mississauga highway 401 and mavis. east end meet is every last saturday of the month at the kennedy commons parking lot at kennedy and 401 by the tim hortons usually anywhere from 20 to 40 cars both meets start around 8pm but most people show up after 8:30 we usually go for a some food after and then a cruise in the night . age group is anywhere from 16-65 some nights as we have some real old school toyotas as well always a great night come out and meet some new faces and learn about your cars don't worry we usually only talk about cars for the first hour or so, and by all means bring you other half , wives husbands girlfriends it is definatly not a testosterone atmoshophere

Basically if you are part of any club in the U.S.A. or Canada post the details here. so place the name location and if it revolving ( meaning it is an ongoing meet not a once a year) so all members can see where lexus owners meet across the country on a normal basis If you have any more questions about any of the meets pm (private message )the poster do not add conversation to this thread as it will be removed to keep it simple . no it won't sorry bbsal i seem to be disagreing wth you alot lately there is more to the removal than just the large screw there are 2 pins to be pulled out ablve and below the lock mecahnism as well as its holder also another screw with a cap by the front of the door where it meets the dash also the cover where the handle is needs to be poped off the handle also than there is a little slit on the lower door cover that is made to fit a few fingers in and tehn slowly pull away from the door to release it pin by pin

dont'need to heat tehm up just clean the surface with rubbing alcahol and make sure you wax the gold ones first or they will pit real nice and you have to keep doing this also see if the gold ones are clear coated if not buy a can and give them atleast 3 good coats and it will protect your investment

i personally would not use wd 40 it is petroleum based and can damage the seat belt the main reason why belts and tensioners go it because of dirt dust and hair the mechansim inside it lightly greased wd40 will remove all of it and just leave the hair mainly to bind up it you opened up the assembly it might just need a good cleaning but most of them are made not to be tampered with so it is sealed

the maf is in the intake hose after the airfilter the air fuel is called an o2 sensor there are 3 of them one on the fore and aft banks of the exhaust manifold and one after the cat the only way to check them is with a scan tool to see there values

the car works great in the snow with snow tires

you would have to go to a plater and have them do it right on the car to get the taillight one done problem is the solution makes the red paint around the es 300 come off for some reason as it happened to mine the floss is for the regualr emblems on thepaint the tail one is epoxyed into the light and has to be pryed off and it doesn't easily mine bole into peices as i took it off

it is simple are you removing the door panel front or back what is wrong wth the door window

with all the problems you have get a new deck and run new wiring it is much cheaper to buy a deck new speakers and wiring so it basically will blow the speakers and the amp is usuless for them

an interferance engine doesn't mean the belt is in the engine or outside it means if the belt breaks the valves won't hit the pistons causing interferance meaning the valves bend pistons crack as do blocks and cranks a real big cost to repair

what does the key look like? a regualr lexu key with out the head or a regualr key? and does it turn in the lock? it sounds like the ecu but for the wireless door locks mine is in the trunk also but the ant is built into the rear window look for the small weird grid to the side of the 3rd brake post a pic if can

it just sounds like a problem related to over filling the gas as when you fill the gas to the top with some cars it leaks dow into the active charcoal canisters to store the fumes to later be released into the system as it is an emmision control device to not pollute th air with raw fuel so when the car starts it increase the pressure and some how send more gas coming up the neck for the tank causing it to drain in to the catch system

hmm i wonder if a phone guru could override the phone so it would not respond to lock out of the brain i know the in car kit i have in my es 300 ( which is just an addition) works great only thing it changes is a rapid charger being on ,the lights going to a second dim position when not in use and the screen changin to lexus mode( i know you like that touch,instead of car)

first question is does the little button on the switch light up? and have you looked under the seat to see if a harness is loose or unplugged?

for some reason i thought the radio would give it to you before turinging it off are you sure you have a code in it and if all else fails time for a trip to the dealer

now you are asking a different question with the ecu one out of the awy what year is the car? and it is more than likely the egr valve which does not affect the performance much or damage te engine in any way it is also a problem that causes the cel to go on every so often and turn off again as a build up of carbon is present

:D todd those codes are just for the hvac controls they have nothign to do with the ecu that runs the engine

now that is funny cs 180 it probably is just vinyl like the camry is also instead of leather

so it was a car with regualr options but different mats and wheels not bad i guess i have seen the wheels on the coach already but inteested in the mats if you have a digi cam
