  1. it mgiht be the shop forgot or threw out the anti squeal shims for each pad it needs them or it just needs some slow braking for the first 500 km
  2. hmm i am suer tehre is a little peice of metal in there that is why it is so easy to bend back by hand i found it happens most to cars that are parked front end first and tehn scrape the concreate stoppers pulling the front ends up and out trying to get over them i just pushed mine up and it stayed fine ever since

  7. spirit levels ? never heard of them before but the little glass levels with green fluid is used to level the adjustment of the headlights you have to park the car on a perfectly flat surface then use one of the adjusting knobs to make the light shine up or down which tilts the level and moves the air bubble into the center to make the light level other cars have little nubs on the headlight clear housing usually 3 for each low beam that encompases the headlight a tool attaches to it that is basically a level also and readjsuts the headlight the same way

  10. are you asking for advice? start by saying the year? and be as descriptive as possible on all details it might be a crack in the intake hose but need more info
  11. get a motor vac injector cleaner it uses a machine and high pressuure with a solution to clean the crap out of the engine and everything else usually 100 for it but after you are almost guarnteed to pass any emmision test

  14. there is a little parking paul inside the trannny that locks it up when put into park basically if it makes a clunking noise when you did that then it just damages a littel of the material but should be ok as it does not mix with the tranny fluid for some reason i can take my key out while the car is still in nueatral or drive most of the time kind of a safety defect but it doesn't bother me to much
  15. no simple or cheap solution usually needs a new cluster for about a grand ther eare some place that do fix them for less than 500 if they flicker the they are still working if you put the dimmer switch one notch down it should help the needles from overheating and keep them on normally
  16. lexus won't warrenty an alignment but will fix something if it is causing bad wear
  17. when was your last oil change and air filter, spark plugs i might also try giving it the highway run first and not let it idle for longer than 10 minutes or sit aldo try not to use premium gas but regualr for the emission test
  18. the trd supercharger works on the es i didn't find the cmary muc faster with it but it still had to be dyno tuned for the s-fac may have slight clearance issues with the hood but i am not sure you can see by my sig i have done alot but the car isn't really made to do alot more the exhaust and intake helped a good bit bbsal got a jet chip but never got it dyno'd yet to see if there was any positive results as many other owners have tried jet and said it was worse than before
  19. ok if it is after 20-30 minutes then there is aproblem it might be internal of the tranny if the switch is not opening inside ot open the flow of hat tranny fluid to the cold part as it stay locked until warm when i the last time you had the fluid changed are you using the ect button?

  21. i personally think injen is !Removed! don't waste your money besides the one pictured is not going to work for a camry so the least tehy could have done is show the proper one
  22. glad you learned something i find this site great for little bits of info for problems that i never really paid attention to all lexus modles have the annoying high idle, it is just to stop premature wear just remember take everything people say ( myself included ) with a grain of salt as everyone think they know it all ( again myself included )

  25. i saw the orignal post but as you already tried another unit contorller my only though was that so it is left to tracing the wires back to the motor the weirdest part is the power for the passanger side is run through the master controller before it gets to it so i am totally lost sorry i could not be of more help just wanted to let you know that members are reading it i guess they are as lost with it as me
