  1. you woill not be able to add rims that are flush as it will hit the body in the rear, only flared fenders allow space to movewith a narrow tire. you will need to add 5mm spacers to get the rears to look right also go back an complain to the dealer about the paint as it is common there is another thread with the same problem on the board
  2. normal residue is black carbonm which is just a dry black soot if it is gummy it is probably carbon and oil from an oil breather return line like that of the pcv which can stick open
  3. with the search engine try and be less deliberate use small common words we are currently working on a new engnie that takes 3 letter words like "dvd" "update" would be good as well as turing off your date and time to be unspecific.
  4. SUre it will fit but it will be slow as hell. Easier to fit on a 330 than a 300 but done nun the same
  5. It looks nice, but you already know that. But why do it so wide that you can't really drive it all the time without rubbing?
  6. For any es 250 owner this bodykit is for a 91 camry so it should bolt on for a brand new erubuni one for under 450. http://www.camryclub.org/forums/showthread...&threadid=10404
  7. It is either in the glovebox or by the spare tire otherwise you will have to search up and down in all the cars little holes
  8. in my car( ES 300) the panel is on the dash to the lower left of the steering wheel For the IS the kick panel has a small plastic cover that is removed to acess the fuses behind it It is attached to the sill plate for the door and covers the left wall beside the dead pedal .it should come off by removing a plastic nut by hand and pulling the panel towards the rear of the car the one under the hood should be under a cover beside the battery ,usually a long black plastic cover
  9. try and be more detailed in the explaination then
  10. how nice i showed up to our spot for 3 minutes as it is 2 minutes from my house only one other car showed but i didn;t see him but i was driving my civic as it was raining, and yes i would have gone home and got my shiny car if someone else had shown up i hope i see a few pics of your meet you already know what ours looked like. lots of rain fog and a packed parking lot full of regular sunday shoppers
  11. what is code 25 for i am not sure on obd 1 codes only obd 2 ones as i have the book
  12. your brake fluid is low you might need new pads as the fluid has displaced the wor pad as the piston moves out to compensate for wear. you can add some new fluid in the mean time though
  13. as i am pretty sure you need to remove the rear seat to get to the upper mount of the suspension as the seat comes out it is better to do them the rear at the same time. If it is rusty on one spot it is probably rusty in a few more i would replace all of them at once to give the car a smooth feeling rather than a worn and solid ride with a half and half suspension. the jic coilovers ride very smooth for a nice slight ride upgrade
  14. synthetic all the way taxis almost never get turned off and 90% of all wear is at cold start up
  15. hope your meet was good ,ours got rained out so no one showed.
  16. either the bulb or a fuse i fixed an IS 300 last night that blew the fog lights and taillight running lights which stopped working 4 months ago for a guy It was 2 different fuses one in the kick panel on the drivers side for the tails and the fog on the passenger one
  17. picture doesn;t show
  18. the kuhmo's are garbage don;t buy them even for under 100 a tire they aren;t worth $1 i have a set of bridgestone potenza runflats in 245 40 zr 18 $600 90% tread left 215 is too small a width for a 18 inch rim 225 is ok but 245 is what you should be running on a 18 rim
  19. the es 250 and the 89-91 camry as the exact same you can swap hoods headlight and taillights the 92 and up nothing will fit but the emblems
  20. what year is the car?
  21. you didn;t check ebay did you amf i payed 300 for mine when i bought them 7 years ago before ebay .
  22. if you get a 7 wide inch rim max and a 35 or 30 profile tire it will fit depending on the drop
  23. you can add a dvd player and do some wiring or buy a module for about 400+ player and add it.
  24. there will be differences for the engine i have seen egr changes and other minor things best bet is to keep the stock manifold and sensors and swap over just the block while you are at it change the main seals and everyother gasket make sure you get the 3.0 not the 2.5
  25. the first problem is to remove the kink in the wood causing it to curl you need to heat it out and iron it to flatten it .then use silicone if needed as it holds but can still be removed if needed.
