  1. check the diagnostic codes that are in the general maintance section.
  2. Don't forget to mention you can't have rear passengers either or else it will rub.
  3. not a bad article at all.it explains it much better than i could have in a couple of words.
  4. You also should remove the antenna base and clean out the broken bits incase it gets stuck in the tracks again and jams it.
  5. not bad for troubleshooting. ever thought of going back and showing them the real problem and see if they will pay for labour and some parts?
  6. yes the door panel has to come off with a few screws. removing it is easy fixing it will cost about 250 to replace the switches
  7. Get a motor vac ,it is a high pressure fuel cleanign system that always cleans everything perfectly including the catsd for about 100
  8. go to lexus.com and fill in your vin # then they will send you a manual for free.
  9. Of course it is but judgeing from your question i would guess that you aren't much for modifiying electronics . You would need to find the relay that turns on the fog lights. There is an open switch that you need to duplicate its trigger.
  10. If you can't find the iacv you should start buy buying a service manual. It is a bypass valve fot the throttle plate so it is located beside the throttle plate.
  11. 225 is optimal 235 might fit for tire width. 38 mm is too low you need around 42-43mm for offset 8.5 is way to wide 7.5-8 is best the rim mentioned above would work perfectly for a GS model but not an ES you can go bigger but not without modifications or rubbing.
  12. Please find the other thread that is over 2 pages long with the same question.
  13. On some cars overly heavy keys cause the ignition tumbler to wear causing a car to stall or get the switch very hot as there is slight arcing like a spark plug . Other possibilities are that you did not get the key perfectly in line when you turned it forward and it is arcing on the contacts aswell. I did this on my civic once and had to replace the contacts of the tumbler as it wore them out from arcing.
  14. Make sure the throttle cable is perfectly adjusted .if not it can and has caused a few trannies to shift harder and then dies pretty quickly.
  15. Practical ,yes easy ,no turbo ,sure but power very little as the design of the engine and the downpipes would lose hp from turbo lag from piping to the coolers and back as well as dractically different lenghts in overall piping.
  16. it does not have any rca's just liek no other car in the world has rca connections in the deck. You can buy an adapter that connects to the harness and gives you 4 rca plugs andwires to snap into the stock harness.
  17. Is there a question in there?
  18. I can sell you a set of runflats cheap but what ever you do ,DO NOT BUY KUHMO they are garbage in the worst way. No racer uses Kuhmo unless they are to lose or the pace car. Michelin makes you pay for the name not the tire but they are quality but not amazing. Toyo is very good as is dunlop
  19. You are a new member you will not be allowed to post in the buy and sell as we have way too much spam to always sift through and delete.Sorry but for now atleast you won't be able to post there.
  20. put it back on ebay and sell it.You WILL NOT gain any power but will lose power and lots of gas milage but you do get a nice sound. There is no need for that mod as it is not worth a cent.
  21. does the filter go outside of the engine bay to the other side of the fender or is the filter located inside the engine bay?
