  6. and you probably will never hear knocking from using regualr gas in a lexus as it has technology caled knock sensors which will hear tehm before your ear and adjust the timing accordingly. Because you don;t hear it doesn't mean it isn't there.

  12. I built my own multi level ramps from MDF as i can;t get any thing i own jacked up as they are too low up front. They work perfectly and cost very little to screw together and cut. Or just buy a aluminum race jack that is a really low clearance with exteneded reach to get under any race car
  13. it doesn;t say who makes the blanks? I wouldn;t bother but it is a good price for rotors pads and lines Not sure why it comes in colours as they paint the rotor hat which can;t be seen once the wheels are installed

  15. either a bad rotors and cap , buy that and replace first as it is cheap and good maintance anyway then get the code checked which probably should be done first it might be the thrttle position sensor
  16. might be the throttle cable on the throttle body , it has a little steel nub on the cable gonig to the tranny beside the throttle body it is supposed to sit a few mm out of the casing when the throttle is at idle, when not in proper alignment it causes the tranny to burn gears and hard shifting

  18. The rx is the same engine as mine and actually all lexus start at a high idle and if put into gear to quicly while the engine is tryingto warm the tranny fluid ,engine and sensors it will bang and cause alot of wear on the parts. I never move my car without warming up for atleast a minute

  22. red will be a littel hard to see the black you wont see at all white or chrome will show nicely as will yellow on a silver caliper
  23. read the faq for the basic questions i would say your amp is dead or one of your rear speakers are causing the amp to shut down the rear speakers. I think you can disconnect the rear speakers from under the parcel shelf try one at a time to see if it returns to test the speakers.
  24. niche make srims that are always referred to as BLING as they are made to attract attention with sparkeling not good looks
  25. they will look after it for free under the lexus ways of buisness don;t expect or pay for anything else until they rectify it first for free
