i think he is just showing his ignorance and i am enjoying being schooled by the other toyota heads on historical engineering.
This thread has lots of real world info that is very goood for comparisions
vtech makes points but with little to back it up beside some test data and his unbiased opinion which is fine as any person who is looking at either an acura or lexus can use as information breakdown over reliability and performance.
I guess vtec doesn;t realise a supra engine is made with low hp and trq #'s but the engine needs no internal mods to get well over 500 hp and still be street legal, but that is what a forum is about ,learning and debating, not all honda/acura owners are stubborn or hardheaded to belive one thing over another is the best always hands down there is never or was going to be another.
I drive a honda as well but it is my beater!
lmao
0-60 is a short time to live but after the runs who can still drive their car home ?
if some don;t light then it needs to be removed and the board the diodes are on needs to be inspected with a multimeter to find the faults where it has broken contact and they need to be resoldered
a motorvac is a machine that is hooked up to the fuel line and pumps a high pressure cleaning solution through the fuel system which cleans it amazingly as well as having the throttle body cleaned as well.
It helps every person who gets one.
who ever wired the aftermarket alarm didn't hook it up properly
the used they connected the unlock/lock trigger on the door lock wire instead of from the alarm sentinal/brain
it needs to go to a good alarm installer to have that wire redone to deactivate the factory alarm when disarming
this would be done by connecting to the key lock pulse from the door lock being turned not the power doorlock switch
correct you can move the rods equally but
the wheel is now centered but not the rack
each part needs to be done independantly.
the wheel moves any way you put it but the rack limits the degree of turn not the steering wheel
always glance past the name but never really have time to read it properly.
I am sorry to hear ,as i am a great fan of the late Arton Senna which i still haev the special edition time magazine of him after the crash in september of 97 i think.
definatly would get it checked asap as the computer should be safe if it is under the dash like i think
the amp for the stereo is in for truble as is mildew and mould fromt eh moisture.
put [a[er towels and go to a power washer and spray the cars door to find the spot.
get someone to sit inside and either power wash it or spray a garden hose at the door and see where it soaks first if itis a door seal.
it might be from a replacment windsheild or a seal in the firewall. from the hva system/
not bad sienna
i almost bought a 96 legend coupe special edition with the 6 speed yamaha tranny which is very rare in Canada ( i think thatwas the year)
An 89 legend coupe is a rare car though unlike the 4 door version which is mostly beat up here in Canada if still driving at all.
So if you had one in great condition ,it would get noticed but not because it was an acura but because it is a pristine condition looking car.
I prefer nokia for overall reliability and price
i had 8 motorolas from the time they had brick phones to the startac.
I got a nokia and won't get anything else, but i don;t care for frivilous features like a camera phone just a workhorse with great reception like a nokia 6310i with bluetooth ,i have a 6360 right now and looking to go from tdma to gsm .
you want amazing feature reveiws goto
www.howardforums.com
the best place for unbaised results with actual testing equipment for true reception and life ratings not manufacture hype.;
it is either camber is negatiive causing inside wear ,or you have soft suspension causing negative camber on lots of dips in the road but the alignment will not show it .
they are supposed to be a free flowing air filter
so you gain less filtration but also reduced vacume to rob power.
i don't like fram as a company but if you like then no problem.
i don;t try and be argumentative ,just give straight facts.
if the car dirves straight fine then it is not a wheel alignment problem it is a rack steeing wheel problem ,correct?
chanign the rod ends will do nothing for the true senter of all 3 unless done together
get the end link back
it is needed for any turn not just hard ones it keeps the vehicle flat as possible for maximum traction on a turn of any speed and angle.
get the ball joints and tie rods checked
yup
you need to undo the bolts
and lift the backrest up and push back and down together on each side to get the hooks to seat in the holders otherwise tehy sit in front of it and push the seat forward.
i thought so, they are idiots sometimes.
get a motorvac
it is cheaper can will improve the overall performance of the whole car as well as gas milage and should clean up the o2 as well
no problem that is what the site is for
to save you time and money with simple fixes.
it is best to clean a throttle body at every oil change ,improves gas milage and overall performance of the car instantly
your lucky craig
i had an 01 caravan company vehicle
in 35000km
i had a new tranny new suspension, rack ,exhuast, abs, rotors warping ,and tons of other small problems from such a crappy made van,
