If you have a large VCD load when braking , it is a lighting issue causing it to fail so fast. check the trunk wiring as previously mentioned.

Have you turned the dimmer switch to compensate>?

I would say the serpentine belt is slipping because the altenator is addign so much strain to recharge a dying batttery with the cold weather. Mine and my wifes car did that if the battery gets real low.

Just press the manual auto button and if it does not change tht mirrors are shot. It uses the sensor on the rear veiw for light fore and aft.

If you can find a way to repssurize the system you will find a leak. If it is the charcoal is spent from being overfilled you will need to replace the tank or the charcoal inside.

It is not so much the actual nitrogen which is for tire pressures and temperature fluctuations . It is also for the removal of moisture,

wrong section , i'll move it to the RX section for some help , you probably need a new battery cable or alternator.

You might want to mention the year and colour as well that you need it shipped internationally.

Use the paper one to clean it up . Take the old one and clean out the debris by soaking in varsol. Add another exterior filter and your done when you add the screen back. Personally the paper is much better , it just needs to be changed more often especially after first install.

LOL NC I always hate the strut rod bushings they need to have tighter tolerances and a stiffer bushing , I am going to change my LS400 and GS430 over to Daizen as soon as i get a good price as if they go bad they take everything up front down with it.

The joke is , if it is so great to add a capacitor to increase the load then why not just make an adapter to plug on top of the plugs. I guess that would not make them as much money.

Those are helper stoppers which keep the spring from being compressed , They are used by someone who may have a higher load than normal and is trying to keep the rear end from sagging as much , or towing a small trailer.

The GS is only as good as the snow tires you install on them. It is rear wheel drive and high horsepower , the altima is a very weak comparison which it is barely. It is front wheel drive a lower powered . they both will handle very differently in winter. The altima will get you through snow better but the GS with snows will not get stuck.

you are probably looking at getting around 300 plus shipping for them if they are going to sell , as shipping will kill it .

go to sewell lexus or carson and find a strut /spring set up to confirm if it is supposed to be there under parts.

viper , clifford same company and i have 3 and they work great, it is mainly the installer over the alarm that can cause issues.

The e300td is a great car , it is old world German engineering with reliability with some new world toys. It is not the cars of great such as the 70's and 80's diesels but it will run fine with just a few sensors going every so often. It is pretty fast for it not being the newer style direct injection and is still not as quiet as them either but worth its weight. It is a hard car to come by cheap. Now is it better than a 98-00 LS400 , not a chance but a 95-97 LS400 for sure it is hands down as that is slower and thirstier.
