  1. Your LS400 is worth way more than the c class in the long run. That car is just crap . If it were an e class maybe but not the C.
  2. ALways ask for a deal , tires are sold at msrp rarely which is 100% over cost prices. So a $100 tire costs the retailer $50 as well they still make money on install and balancing.
  3. Undo the bolt on the pan and refill the amount removed .
  4. Go to the dealer and walk back and ask a mechanic ,the toyota ones should work also and they usually have a couple of sets they will give you.
  5. Look for an exhaust leak as it can also cause a wrong indication on that bank , change the o2 sensor while you are at it. Lean means it is running hotter than it should be as the sensor it a temperature sensor.
  6. Thanks guys , i enjoyed my birthday with the best gift ever my 7 month old daughter. thanks for the kind words again.
  7. Makes sense , good luck jabri. Look forward to hearing either way,.
  8. no chance they are plug and play
  9. you are a new member and as such you need post some details about yourself and the car. I am closing this thread until you have the information ready. 4 pics of the car. 1 pic of the Vin and colour code. mileage , your location and the cars location , why you are parting it , Include as much information as possible and not 1 word responses and it will be added to the thread and reopened. Too many people trying to defraud others to make a quick buck. Also you must have a paypal account for any payments in case of any issues. This includes posting and pm'ing members about your parts for sale. Thanks
  10. 1 the seat may be designed to be ergonomically correct by making you correct your posture. 2 Most people who have pain in their legs and back after a few hours is because they have poor seating conditions for their body structure. It comes down to the same thing as women wearing the wrong bra and refusing it is wrong because ti always worked before. Other than at the track i never see people sit properly in alignment for their back and removing the pressure. So unless you get a big comfy sofa leaning back or just being laid out is not reducing the stress but increasing it. If you did not take the car for a proper test drive then it really is only up to yourself to look at for not realising the issue before the purchase.
  11. No they will not fit , they match up but your brakes are too large to fit behind an ES rim.
  12. agreed , lean is too vague.
  13. Yup it is a BMW bolt pattern on the 460 and it does not fit any other Toyota/ Lexus vehicles in the current line up.
  14. The es also had it but it was by swapping the connector on the motor against the firewall.
  15. check the group buy section on CL , carson usually has a few codes they use every month.
  16. they are only from the dealer and are both on the passenger side pads.
  17. No the bolt pattern for the LS460 is not the same 5 X 114.3 that you have.
  18. First thing about making a post , what year is your car? The brake pad sensor is broken or not reinstalled. Take it back.
  19. Sorry , but you don't want to be lazy and hope it is fixed . It is not a mystery problem but one that can potentially cause a fire or damage to other electronics. It is an easy fix so save the money now while you can.
  20. They are needed and used to firmly hold the rotor in place. It is $2 and worth them.
  21. Do most newer shark fin antennas not use 2 antennas built into one . One provides navigation and radio support and the other for radio frequency with 2 separate pigtails? It would look more than weird to have a shark fin on the side of your trunk as you do not want to drill holes and is not made for that position on a car.
  22. The gauge is in indicator only . It is not that it is in accurate in any way , as it will show fluctuations . The problem being is that the change of the center of the gauge can vary wildly but still show the same reading as it is within normal operation. It is similar to a gas gauge , they show an avg amount by what it says is half a tank is usually 1/3 which is why it always on all cars drop so much faster once that point is reached. I won't disagree the thermostat is bad but i would not determine that solely on the gauges position. If you have no heat after 20 minutes of driving then it would start to point more to that.
  23. We will wait for his response to the snow in the pics which is strange for Minnesota this time of year. Hopefully it is a real story as i could use a few parts as well. To validate the story posting the vin and the paint code from the door jam would do.
  24. I would replace the temp sender on the head as it may be giving bad readings , The gauge on the car is not meant to be read but a basic indicator. It will give you an idea if it is warmer or colder but it is not in any degrees. Basically the center line is about a 60-80 degree variance in a mm while the whole gauge may be 0-200 below it and 300-400 above it. It is not showing a true indication just that it is working. Start by replacing the sender as it is cheap , it is works you can buy me one too as they all need to be changed every 5-8 years or so .
  25. You should be fine , Lexus doesn't nickle and dime it owners when it recognizes a fault , the dealer is just covering their !Removed!.
