  1. Here's a good cause and effect page: Why Is The Brake Pedal Not Returning? (& How To Fix It) (car-horizon.com)
  2. Your Lexus parts department person may be able to tell you if the rails and wiring harness are the same for both options.
  3. You're welcome, Linda. Perhaps a new ignition switch would take care of it.
  4. You may have a hard time finding them from anywhere else. Hopefully they won't be too expensive and hey, they lasted 16 years! 🙂
  5. I would think that the buzzing noise is telling you that either you did not insert the key all the way, or reminding you to pull the key out before exiting the vehicle.
  6. Is there a "crush" washer under the bolt head? If there is, it should've been replaced with a new one. Often, this type of washer is made of aluminum so that it conforms and seals adequately.
  7. Is your battery fully charged and all cells with distilled water to the full line? Did you change all those items or did the dealership. If the dealership did, they should not let your vehicle leave the shop with warning lights on the dash.
  8. So you like to sit in the car with the door open? Is your ignition key turned off and pulled out, at least halfway?
  9. The engine "breathes" through its intake air filter and on to its intake manifold. Removing the plastic should not be harmful, but it would not be helpful, either. By changing the intake air filter every 10,000 miles or so, your engine will breathe easily. And don't forget your cabin filter, also.
  10. They should have the same wheel bolt circle pattern, but the width and offset may not be the same. If you find some, perhaps ask the owner for the year and model of the vehicle they came from. Then you can plug in that information in Tirerack's website, which should reveal the information you will need to compare to the those for your vehicle.
  11. Usually, a wheel bearing noise is most evident when the vehicle is rounding a corner, not when the vehicle is traveling in a straight line.
  12. That looks like it tells you the percentage of torque being applied to the front and rear wheels. This could be determined based upon wheel/tire slip under varying conditions. See: On the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) models, how do I switch between AWD and Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)? (toyota.com)
  13. You should be able to order from crutchfield.com and either install it, yourself or have any auto receiver installer install it. See: GPS Navigation at Crutchfield
  14. Factory size is 215/55-17 You can look up this information, including wheel sizes that match the tires by going to www.tirerack.com. an 8-inch width (17-inch) wheel with +40 offset appears to be OEM sizes. You can also call the experts at Tirerack if you have any questions.
  15. We've had our RX400h for over 18 years, so I understand your being attached to it. The longest I've owned any vehicle was almost 22 years. I bought a used 1968 Corvette convertible when I was 21 and didn't sell it until I was 43.
  16. Did you ask them if they've seen this happen in other ES350s or models of the same year? If so, there may need to be a recall, just as there was for dash replacements in RX vehicles before 2016 when the vehicles were less than 10 years old. Those dashes were softening and cracking.
  17. Gas stabilizers are typically used when your vehicle will not be driven for extended periods of time (3 months or more).
  18. Side note: Always use your maintenance schedule as a guide for determining when things need to be changed. Since the transmission is essentially a closed system, if the fluid is changed according to the manufacturers listings, the filter is not often required to be changed at the same time. Your maintenance schedule should specify. However, if the transmission fluid was neglected for extended periods of time, then the filter should be changed when the fluid is changed.
  19. This should not happen. Have you tried any auto interior cleaner and/or protectant?
  20. Take a look at this page: Why is My Car AC Squealing and How To Fix It (carcarehacks.com)
  21. You may need to specify your vehicle's VIN number on this page: 2022 Lexus RX 350 Parts like RX350L oil filter It looks there are two choices.
  22. Watch the tech who does it! 😏
  23. Or take it back to the shop that changed the oil and have them do it.
