  1. Your signature picture is too big (I removed it), check the size requirements in the posting guidelines and adjust the size...
  2. Thats a good question.... Happy Birthday Ralph...wherever you are...
  3. I'll let you in on a little secret...shhh ...he's a moron :)
  4. Well just think about it logically. Lexus sells the Lexus 19" rims as an option on the LS460. So how could mounting the rims Lexus sells cause damage to the vehicle? I think the notice means aftermarket rims. I think the 460 has a slightly different bolt pattern than is typical so you need to think about that when buying aftermarket rims. The LS460 19" wheels however are already designed for the LS460...and the LS460 is designed for them...so you should have no problems.
  5. Looks great! Very OEM. Don't care for the emblemless grille though... The LS400's turn signals are already clear, the bulb is just amber. You have to replace them with a bulb that has a silver coating to get that look.
  6. And please...take an english class before you post again lol
  7. From what I could understand...the unit is for an ES350...meaning its actually a new screen? The screen in the LS430 is larger than the screen in the ES350....won't work...
  8. Yeah swap the needles into your cluster real quick before you drive anywhere so the mileage remains accurate. Be careful with the connectors... OCD+lots of time+unlimited funds is a dangerous combination lemon LOL
  9. LOL
  10. I personally am very interested to see what the new "shortened" gas pedal looks like. The Prius is included in the recall...I'm tempted to go have it done just to see what they do.
  11. The only issue now is that you have the secondary cluster in your car...accumulating mileage... and now the mileage in your original cluster will always be wrong...even if you reinstall it sometime down the road. So should you ever have to sell the vehicle you will have to disclose that the mileage displayed is not accurate. I can appreciate the work...and the effort and I too like the needles illuminating all the way from the center like in the LS, but its absolutely not worth placing the stigma on the car of not having an accurate mileage readout. That might even make the car unsellable... You couldn't install these needles on your cluster?
  12. Yeah, true enough...stay away from the big orange plug under the hood.
  13. Actions speak louder than words. You can say "i'm not cocky" all day long but when it came to it...the "cockyness" showed itself...
  14. The big issue with those cars is the engine oil gelling issue. Without proper oil change intervals the engine oil can gel up into a sludge causing total engine failure. I certainly wouldn't buy ANY 97-01 ES without good maintenance records.
  15. Cool! Very nice and rare car... Got your email too, thanks!
  16. LOL! Definately not closing this thread now.
  17. You need to tone it down a little bit...
  18. At least it wasn't anything major this time...
  19. I never said you were wrong, I just said don't automatically assume because something works a certain way on your 97 that it will work on an 02-06. Its the same as saying because something works one way on an ES it works the same way on an LS...which is definitely not always the case.

    2002 Ls430

Thats my plan... Now is the smarter time to buy, but I hate buying cars in the winter.
  21. We already have a discussion for this...
  22. The GS & LS are actually pretty good in the snow with snow tires...
  23. We need to get you interested in doing things to it that are less destructive. What about car detailing?
  24. Very nice! Thats one of the exact color combos I'm considering... What'd you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?
