  3. I once bought a 1994 LS400 that ran 206K on the original timing belt. When it broke, the repair bill was 1800. (in 2002) I bought it at 230K, put 30K more on it, sold it last Christmas, still running fine... BUT, I would not try that... it looked like this:
  4. My wife wanted the Gold emblems on her 97, so I have these for sale. The LS400 emblem is missing. I am selling the Grille L, the trunk L and the name LEXUS. No broken pins.. the back ones are like new, front has usual nicks.   10. I am running MXV4 on my wifes 97 LS400, and Pilot Exalto on my 95 LS400.. THE EXALTO IS BY FAR THE BEST, SMOOTHEST, AND QUIETEST, if you drive over 70mph, and I do. Below that they are about the same.
  11. Cheer up!! wait until you are 75, and you will know something about sleeping on a comfortable mattress....... a few thousand will buy my LS, my mattress is untouchable... if you last, you will see... get your hopes up..

  18. I have had 5 different LS's over the past 15 years, and ALL of the Temp gauges have been right where yours is. also, never had a water pump "go out" cheers, bp

  22. Your local Lexus dealer can pull up all records that have been done to it by a dealer. Also I think a carfax would be a good Idea to find out some history. post some photos of it..
