it used to be that every connected to the same cable in the building, now there are splitters and terminators and cable uses star topology that comes out from the hardware that sits on the end of the backbone. it is as safe as DSL and it is much faster than DSL

add 1-1.5 secs and you will get a real time, it said 7.1 for mine but i was never even close to that in the full config, i had to remove the back seat and spare tire and had only 1/4 of gas in the tank when i did 7.8 which was the best result. may b when LS is raced professionally on the track and is brand new it would be another story but in our case we can just tell those factory settings to other ppl and check their reaction.:)

yeah i know that, but i love the shape of the new stang, i'm not really into racing, i love the engine sound and the shape, it just appeals to me, 99-04 stangs are good but the shape is not that appealing.

it happend to my friend with GEN I LS and it turned out to be a dead alretnator, everything switched to the battery and once battery is starting to loose the juice you will get all these warning lights since the devices in the car just dont have enuff power to operat and will signal a malfunction. have your alternator checked.

MAF sensor would give u a check engine right away, tried that on mine.

120$ to replace a fuel filter??????? ouch! i got a OEM filter for 35$ and changed it for another 20$:) thats a ripoff and there is no such thing as lifetime fuel filter:) mine looked exactly like urz.

Grand LS what your is your LS and what kind of mods do you have?:) this is really interesting since factory 0-60 for brand new gen II LS is 7.1 but i was never able to do this time. i wonder how ure gettin such good results. oh and for Gen I LS it is around 8 secs as far as i remember. you prolly have some serious mods installed to get such nice timing.

digital output can be between devices like receiver and cd player but i never heard about digital speakers:)

the blackout of the dash makes me suspicious, there might be a shortage somewhere, check all the sensor connections on front of the engine. when you crank the engine dash should dim but definetly should not blackout. try to swap the battery may be? may b its just the bad battery, but i doubt it, but you should check it just to eliminate this possibility

the thing is that you can create the image of your custom computer and just store it on dvd or another computer. i have 9 computers at home and i have a server which has images of all my computers. this is what i do on my client computers, i build it, i install all the apps and updates and then i just create an image and store it on the server, in case smth went wrong i just boot from the cd, reimage my computer and i'm back in businnes. as simple as 123. as to the price, more $ doenst necesserily means better computer. take a look at the dell notebooks, they are ugly and big and expensive while if you check the link in my previous posts you can see that you can build the same notebook 2 times cheaper. i custom build my computers since i know which parts and models and brands are the best and i can combine them the way i like while i cant do the same with dell.at work i got a dell xps workstaion for 7k while it would cost me only around 3k if i would custom build it myself. big difference huh?:)

the hardware that they use now does not let you see other users, it doenst even let you sniff other ppls packets. eg back in the days, you can set your network card in the mode that it will receive all the packets on the network and you will be able to get every1s data, now you cant do that with ur cable. you are gettin only your own packets no matter how you set your network card. i tried already:)

if it would be any kind of sensor, the engine light would come up. do you have the light? is your timing ok?

only old cable systems did that, cable service that they provide these days dont have this problem, it is completely safe and much faster then the dsl.

this is really slow, even gen I shoudl be faster, mine does 0-60 in 7.8 secs and i'm sure i can push it even further, i know engines on gen I LS are really realible and powerfull,which leaves your tranny as the cause of the problem.

yeah, comcast is pretty good, at least in our tristate area, they provide cable service that is very reliable and speed is good.

i'm gonna keep the lex as well, just not the one i have now, planning to sell acura and ls400 and get like a 2000 or 20001 ls as well as mustang cobras have different bodykit as well as suspension, transmission, differential etc.. its not only about the engine, its about handling, braking looks etc:)

hot and cold has nothing to do with the day, its for the temperature of the tranny. its hot when it was in use for a period of time and hot is when the car cools down completely. you better off duing it cold since you have to remove the pan and it might be hard to do if the engine and tranny are hot.

but its worth it:) i drove old saleens and cobras and its really nice, i would love to get a 69 dodge charger but they are way too expensive.

if you do have a lex and its not 2004, you might have to go to the dealer and upgade your nav sys
