i have light interior so you can see the shape of a person. i would to make it darker but it would be illegal. in fact even 20% is already illegal in many states.

my alarm does exactly the same, i just got couple of more horns to sound the alarm so its really painful and annoying to be around my car if alarm goes off. it will not move until i disarm it with remote and then use the key to turn the ignition on. without the remote even if oyu have original key car will not start. i have 4 starter brakes so its really hard to disarm. evenif you pull the brain out it will not start. i can also start my car remotely and since its a 2way alarm i can monitor what is going on with my car all the time. i mean when regular alarm goes off no1 notices it anymore, but in my case my remote starts beeping and vibrating so i know smth is wrong with my car, it shows if the car is started or door or hood or trunk is open.

its still considered a remote lock/unlock. you dont have a shock sensor or any other attributes of a full alarm system. for example it will not chirp 3 times instead of 2 when you open the car to tell u that alarm went off during the night.

or you can just use photoshop or any other program similar to it and just resize it the way you want.

black of course! LS is not that kind of that will look good with metallic spray on windows.i have mine tinted with 20% film and it looks awesome and scary:)

obergc is right, this is how i removed mine, but i was removing all other parts around as well since i was changing the timing belt so it went without any problems.

there is no stock alarm in LS, its just a remote lock/unlock system thats it.

got this by mistake from ceenu by report this post: I had the similar issue. My cruise control use to cancel while driving. What i noticed was hand break light is blinking once in a while when it blinks in the middle of cruise use, it forces to cancel. And then i spend few hours why it is happening and found the solution, the break light was blinking [hand break] BECAUSE THE BREAK FLUID IS BELOW THE MIN LEVEL. I dont think you have the same issue , hope this may help too I checked the break fluid reservior and refilled upto MAX it resolved the issue. Thanks, Srini

yeah the problem is the bulbs, not the display, i dont know any1 with genII who gor probs with LCD, at least not yet:) there has been an article about DYI fix for this problem but i beleive it is lost. one of the members has it saved locally but i forgot who:( sorry. migirdech, the post that you showed is for the lights in the dashboard, not the lights in the climate control or audio head unit. they have tiny LEDs, not bulbs and they are pretty hard to replace yourself. i got 2 of em burned myself on one of the buttons but i dont bother changing them.

i dont think they make them yet and if they will ever. but 2004 has the middle part of the taillight transparent(white). why would u change that?

each of them is around 600-800$ you should check out junk yards b4 bying new airbags.

in your case i would not recommend doing anything urself. you paid so much money and you get free maintanence, then why even bother? i'm doing mine myself coz i'm cheap:) my friends dad who got 03 ls has lexus guys come over his house and check the car like once in 2 month.:) this is what i call service, but me myself would never go to the dealer with my out of warranty car because they will just rip me off and not always fix the car the way i want. but its just me u know:)

coz OBD II was implemented on 95 and up cars, even when i pass inspection they ask if car 95 and up, then they just connect to the OBDII connector and thats it.i know that lexus cars b4 95 has connector that looks like OBDII but its not. may b this is ur case. my friend has a connector on the engine on his 94 LS that looks exactly like mine and it even says diagnostics, but its not OBDII

totally agree with spiller. i dont think its worth bying used ones when you can buy all 4 of them for like 250$ new

Is she ok? did she get injured in any way? what happen to the drunk teen a$$holes that hit her? yeah she is ok, i came to the scene even b4 the police and ambulance got there :)and since i'm red cross certified first aid i checked for neck and back injuries and told her not to move, they took her to the hospital while my bro took care of the civic and i drove to the hospital behind the ambulance, it was a cool drive ignoring all the lights and stuff:) over there i made the doctors made a cat scan and this week we gonna do mri to make sure evertyihg is fine. those guys in the range rover i dont really know what happend to them i took their insurance info and called their company right away and they gonna fix. esitmate is 4500$ just for the body work, they didnt get into details yet. GF is ok now but kinda afraid to drive. thanx for asking. its really crazy on the streets here in brooklyn. ALOT of roadrage and crazy ppl. especially those bikers..........

never saw an OBDII car that was made in 94.

it doesnt matter when rotors were installed, you overheated them with hard breaking and then u were holding brakes while car was not moving and they bent. you shoudl be able to do more then 11k on ur brake pads plus you have a sensor that will tell u when to change them. in the meantime just go to any shop and them to resurface your front rotors

tell me bout the road rage, my gf got rearended on on my civic with 5 drunk punks in range rover. they hit her to hard that she smaeshed inthe lincoln in front and lincoln smashed into another car. car was 3 month old and insurance still didnt decide if its a total lost or they still will repair it.

hey Craig! this is not the end:) this is just a beginning. why the heck r u thinkgin about death? you should think about having fun and going up the ladder and being able to get urself more toys and have more fun. you have nice cars and you prolly have lots of friends, so just go get drunk and get some fun.
